The World Has Changed Have you?

It would be naive to say that things have not changed in our environment; we are most certainly facing tougher, or should I say different conditions, than we have faced in the past. The reality of these uncertain times though, is that they are here to stay. I believe that this is how normal will feel and be in the future. The easy times of the early 2000’s will never exist in the same form ever again. Yes we live in a world of cycles where there are always periods of easy abundance, followed by periods where abundance exists, but we need to be more innovative and creative to discover and exploit the abundance that abounds. The rapid rate of change has forever changed the landscape of our lives and uncertainty and constant and rapid change are now just how things are and will be for the foreseeable future.
The reality of the new and constantly changing world we live in is that opportunities are still there, we just need to look for and discover them a little differently. It is time to fasten your mental and spiritual seat belts and to accept that the way you have done things until now, is no longer going to work the same in the future. If you want to reach the next level of accomplishment you must become a champion of change and be able to adapt to and utilise change as your new ally.
Action Idea: Find a quiet place where you can sit, relax, breathe and get in tune with your inner self. Explore your inner self by asking and answering these questions:
·         What has changed or is changing around me?
·         How can I use this change to my advantage?
·         Have I changed?
·         What do I need to change or improve about myself?
Now create an action list that you can act on daily, which will help you to gain the maximum benefit from your answers above, so that you can begin to use all the change in your life to your advantage. The rapidly changing times we live in, require us to do this at least three times a week. Schedule about 10 minutes three times a week into your dairy and over time make exploring your environment and discovering all the changes that may affect your life one of your new success habits.
Explore Your Fears and Turn Them into Positive Beliefs
The new difficult times ahead, of constant and rapid change, will most certainly make us feel uncomfortable and thrust us outside our comfort zone.
Action Idea: Examine your fears long enough to know what they are and then create a set of positive affirmations that are the exact opposite of your fears.
Example: You constantly doubt yourself and feel unsure about your abilities.
Affirmation: I am a champion at everything I do, I have unlimited capacity to learn and can learn any skill or ability I require.
Any time you begin to feel any fear about change or challenge, repeat one of the affirmations you create, over and over in your head, until the fear subsides. Over time your positive affirmation or new positive thoughts will begin to replace your fears. This new positive behaviour will help you to lift yourself out of the turbulence of doubt and allow you to begin to soar above the clouds of change.
Take the time to take a quite glance around and you will see the many blessings you already enjoy and will continue to enjoy in the future. The change that is all around you right now is one of those new blessings; it gives you unprecedented opportunity to discover new and better opportunities every day. So accept that change is just the way things are and work to discover how to make change your new success partner. You have so much to gain, use every moment to the full and dare to live a great life.
