Happiness is not an Outside Job

Have you invested time into creating a clear vision for the future? Until you do this your life will continue to fly past in a blur of dissatisfaction, where you continue to see everything in your life, as being in your way. You will live in a place where you are constantly looking for ways to get through your day, week or month. When you have a clear vision or mission, everything you look at changes, you no longer see everything as being in your way; you see the same events as crucial milestones on your way to living the life of your dreams. You now look at every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow and you see everything as an integral part of your success journey. The same event that you previously would have seen as being in your way now evolves into a developmental milestone on your way to the life of your dreams.
This shift helps you to be happy and content with what you have, while you grow into the type of person you need to be, to attract the success you desire. Happiness is not an accident, or something you hope will show up if certain external factors are present, nor is it something you wish for, it is something you are. Expect, accept and design happiness and joy into every facet of your life. When you have a desire to be happy and you choose to be content and satisfied with who you are, what you have and where you are and you know that you are on a journey that will eventually deliver the success you desire; it is easy to feel joy and happiness.
Stop believing that you will become happy when you achieve an outcome or reach a destination on your success journey. Destinations and goals that you achieve offer only limited satisfaction in the moment. Most, if not all destinations or goals realised, very quickly turn into an ant-climax. So if you are expecting any destination to bring you happiness, you are setting yourself up for a life of disappointment. I know this sounds like a cliché, you have heard a million times, but real happiness and joy comes from enjoying the journey. As soon as you have a clear vision and you make the shift, where you see everything as being on your way and you view every event, both negative and positive, which crosses your path, as an opportunity to gain or learn something. You have equipped yourself to live a life of meaning and contentment.
Stop postponing your happiness for the future and accept that happiness can never depend on anything outside of yourself. Happiness, joy and contentment is an internal job, it is something you are right now. It is impossible to be 100 % ecstatic and happy every waking moment of every day, but if you learn the art of looking at events as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than obstacles that limit and restrict you, causing you overwhelm. You equip yourself with a happiness toolkit, which will allow you to see the same event that would have caused you huge distress before, in a completely different light. As you change the way you see everything in your life, the things you look at will change.
Accept that you are the source of your happiness and that all your contentment and happiness comes from within. Stay focused on your vision and see each event that comes your way, for what it is, merely an opportunity to learn and grow, never allowing anything to overwhelm you and you have learnt a new skill for creating contentment and joy in your life.

Potential is the greatest source of wealth available to mankind

Nothing ever invented, produced or multiplied a thousand times over, could ever match the potential wealth that lies untapped in the minds of people. Are you convinced that you are living your full potential or are you just coasting through life, spinning your wheels? Remember that you can only coast in one direction, so when you explore this question and you realise that you possess a vast amount of untapped potential, are you going to allow this potential to be wasted for even one second longer? Or are you going to make the choice today to tap into this pool of wasted potential, risk failure, accept challenge and begin to live a fulfilling and meaningful life?
Newspapers, libraries and magazines are filled with numerous stories about awkward teenagers who could not even pass exams at school or athletes who failed to make their school sports teams. Yet somehow, with perseverance, determination and focus, they went on to become incredible successes and even became the top performer in their field.  Had they accepted the opinions of other people or saw themselves as failures, they would have remained trapped in lives that were less than fulfilling and gone on to live average lives. Instead they formed a vision, a crystal clear picture in their head of exactly what they wanted in their future and with dogged determination they kept chipping away, day after day, until they realised their dreams.
The way to separate yourself from the average and to begin to explore the limits of your potential is to make the conscious choice to finally begin to do whatever it takes, to awaken your own sleeping “GAINT WITHIN”. Set yourself a goal to start tapping into your unused potential and begin to apply your willpower to practice and learn the skills and abilities you need and apply enough dedication and daily discipline so that you can carry out the daily activities needed to succeed.
Awake your “Sleeping Giant Within” by following these four easy steps.
Believe in yourself – Believe that you have unlimited and untapped potential, that you are unique, special and even if you do not have all the skills and abilities you need right now. You have the potential to acquire all the skill and ability you will ever need.
Expect to Succeed – Live your life with positive expectancy, accepting that although you will encounter challenges along the way, you will succeed. The only restriction on what you are able to achieve, is dictated by the limitations you place on yourself.
Visualise Your Success – Stop defining all you are capable of achieving by what is going on in your life right now. Create a crystal clear picture in your mind, a vision of exactly what you want to create in your future. Now pull the trigger and know that each small success, no matter how insignificant, draws you closer to that mental picture you have in your head. Stay focused on your vision and just keep chipping away, day after day, until you achieve all the goals you have for your future.
Know Why it is important to you - Discover why achieving your dream is important to you and awaken that deep rooted passion within your belly. When you have this fire in your belly and your adrenaline is pumping through your veins, nothing will be able to stop you; you will have finally awakened your “Sleeping Giant Within”
Awaken your sleeping Giant Within.
Access your unlimited pool of potential, overcome one small challenge and your life will never be the same again. That small challenge you will need to overcome is: “As easy as these four steps are to apply in your life, so easy are they not to apply”. What choice are you going to make, this time? Are you going to finally pull the trigger and become the person that “does” or are you going to continue to just be an observer, who watches your potential lie idle and wasted, fading into a mist of regret?

Are you choking on the dust of your own regret?

Are you choking on the dust of your own regret, for all the great opportunities you have squandered over the years? Is this attitude or philosophy serving you in any positive way? Can you see how living in the past, focused on what might have been, complaining about all the challenges that have come your way is dragging you out into the financial desert, to die a slow and painful death of regret, where your life seems to just continue to spiral out of control.
You can no longer afford to accept a mild approach to eliminating the negative weeds of doubt, regret and negativity, which are controlling your mind and keeping you trapped in a life you despise. It is time to wrestle back control of your mind and to finally put the past in its rightful place. Learn all the lessons the past has taught you and now begin to catapult yourself forward, turning every single “NOW” into a powerful moment of happiness, joy and a crucial contributor toward creating a better and more fulfilling life.
Every five minutes you spend focused on the past or complaining, is five irreplaceable “NOW’s” you have squandered and wasted forever. Stop accepting your constant negative thoughts; it is time to begin winning the battle against the constant negative self-talk you indulge in every day. Until you commit to remove doubt and regret from your mind, the weeds of negativity will continue to dominate your mind and they will just keep robbing you any sustainable value.
Make the shift today and start to replace all your doubts, regrets and negative thoughts with new positive and reinforcing statements that will help you to grow and become more. All habitual thoughts are only neural pathways that can be replaced, if you are willing to apply effort to start thinking new more positive and developmental thoughts.
Think of yourself living in a beautiful house in the middle of a huge green field of long grass. Your current negative thoughts are deep rutted pathways cut into the ground through the long grass. If you continue to walk along these pathways, (think the negative thoughts) the pathways will only become deeper and more ingrained. The only way to remove these pathways is to begin to walk along different routes every day. As you think different more positive thoughts (walk a different route) you will eventually see the grass begin to grow back on the pathway.
The way to achieve this is to create at least three new positive affirmations or memorised positive thoughts. For example if you keep sabotaging your success, because you feel like you procrastinate all the time. You could memorise an affirmation like this:” I use my time effectively and efficiently and always tackle the most difficult and challenging tasks first thing in the morning” This affirmation when repeated every time you think about procrastinating and putting off difficult tasks,
will over time replace your negative tendency to procrastinate, with a new success habit that will see you tackle and complete all the tasks you would have previously procrastinated.
Repeat this process with any other areas where you may be acting negatively or thinking negative thoughts and you will very quickly replace them with more positive behaviours or thoughts. First develop a positive affirmation that is the exact opposite of the negative thought and behaviour, you want to eliminate. Learn this affirmation, until it is easy to repeat. Every time you begin to think a negative thought or act in a negative fashion, keep repeating the affirmation, until the thought goes away or you change your behaviour. This is a really powerful tool, that will help you to eliminate all of your negative thoughts and actions.

Imagine a Time When no one but you Controls your Financial Destiny

I believe that you have achieved financial independence when you no longer need to dance to anyone else’s tune, unless you choose to. This is a stage you reach in your life where you get to choose what you do, when you do it and you are able to begin making a real difference in the lives of people around you. Is working toward living in a place like that, not worth the short term sacrifice and discipline required?
The first step to begin moving your life toward financial independence is to eliminate all debt from your life.  Once you have created a plan to eliminate all debt from your life you must ensure that you never incur any personal debt on credit cards or loans, ever again. If you cannot afford to buy something, have the patience to build your wealth, until you can. Unfortunately, this instant popcorn, microwave society we live in and the easy access to credit makes, getting into debt so simple. Change your mind-set around consumption spending and stop allowing your need for instant gratification to dictate your choices.
Change the picture in your mind and instead of seeing yourself as someone that has all the trappings of success, built in the illusion of affordability. See yourself as a wealth creator, someone that builds financial wealth by investing and saving. This strategy will require you to make some short term sacrifices and forgo that instant gratification you have become so accustomed to expect. Creating financial wealth is about patience, consistency, persistence and planning.
I know this sounds tough, but desperate times call for desperate measures. If you have huge credit card debt or large personal loans, you must eliminate all unnecessary expenditure from your life, beyond your basic survival needs, until you have zero credit card debt. If you do not take these drastic measures and start to fight a battle you can win, your debt will continue to spiral out of control.
You must put yourself on a complete credit freeze. Explore every one of your current expenditures you have and slash everything as deeply as possible. You are effectively on a 100 % spending freeze.  This spending freeze must remain in place until you have eliminated all your credit card debt. This is harsh, but unfortunately very necessary, until you have eliminated all your credit card debt. Spending is an addiction, the best way to eliminate debt, is to force yourself to go cold turkey.
Until you take control of your finances and start to make wiser choices, your financial position will just continue to get worse and worse. Five years is going to pass, you can make the choice today, to wrestle back control of your finances and be in a good place financially five years from now. Or you can maintain the status quo and the five years will pass any way, the only difference is that you will just be five years older, more wrinkled, more disillusioned and even further in debt.
Make a few new, better choices and start to direct your finances away from consumption spending, which gives you pleasure in the moment, toward creating wealth building goals. Consumption spending offers fleeting pleasure in the moment, which quickly dissipates. Wealth building offers you the opportunity to begin living a life with time and choice freedom. As you start to make better choices around your finances, within a relatively short space of time, you will see massive improvements and with persistence, you will achieve financial independence.

Money does not make the world go round, but it certainly makes the journey more pleasant

You are not alone if you are feeling like your financial life is out of control. Do you feel like you have loaded your financial wellbeing onto a rapid flowing river, which is headed straight toward a waterfall? The first and most obvious step is to wrestle back control of your financial affairs. Grab hold of the rudder and begin guiding your finances toward the shore, where you can assess your position and begin taking corrective action. The way to do this is to create a budget, look at your month in advance and create a clear picture of how you are going to spend your money.
It astounds me how few people have a budget; they have no idea how much money they spend each month. They blindly blunder from one month to the next, oblivious about how they spend their hard earned money, let alone having the foresight to figure out how they are going to correct the errors of the past and sort out the debt trap they have created. Research shows that only 4 out of 10 people have a budget, 60 % of people have no idea how they are spending their money. Are you one of the 40 %, who measure their monthly spend or are you a member of the 60 % club, where you spend your month, holding your breath, tightly closing your eyes and just hoping that things are going to improve by themselves? The solution to change this requires a small shift and a little monthly discipline to create a budget and then a daily and weekly commitment to stick to your plan. It really is that simple.
As you go through your month it is crucial to track your cash flow. Keep a close eye on where your money is going, constantly assessing, if you are spending your money wisely. You may have some serious leaks in your financial boat; there may be a number of small unnecessary expenditures that are adding up to major pitfalls. The only way to find out if this is the case and to discover where the leaks are, to finally plug them, is to start tracking your spending on a daily basis. One of the best tools, which I recommend to help you to quickly, easily, automatically and visually track your finances and to see how your net worth is growing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, is Quicken.
Can you answer the simple question about what your net worth is right now? If you do not know the answer to this really simple, yet crucial question, then you will never get control over your financial affairs. You will remain on a slippery slope and spend the rest of your life floundering around, always short of money. If you are not sure where to start, follow the link below to access a document that will help you to start creating a clear picture of your net worth.
Follow the two simple steps as described above and you will finally start to get a handle on your financial affairs. Continue to blunder blindly through life and your finances will continue to spiral out of control. The choice seems pretty obvious to me, what are you waiting for, wrestle back control of your financial affairs and begin to reap the huge benefits that this will bring.

What Investment will Exponentially Grow my Wealth?

The greatest investment you will ever make is an investment into your on-going personal development. No other investment will ever give you the same returns. As you consistently invest into your most important asset, namely your own self-development, the returns you will enjoy, go well beyond just gains in monetary wealth.  You become a better person in every respect. You are better equipped to be a better spouse, friend, employee, entrepreneur, etc. and if directed properly even your health will improve.
Look at your life right now, are you investing at least 10 % of everything you earn each year, into your personal development? If you are not and you are not satisfied with the results you are enjoying, then I highly recommend that you look to introduce this crucial growth strategy, where you commit to spend a minimum of 10 % of your annual income, on improving yourself, into your life today.
My wife jokingly says, that I should deposit my salary into Amazon and that they should then send me a small cheque back each month, with whatever is left over, after I have paid for all the books, audio books and DVD’s I buy every month. This commitment to on-going learning has seen my income grow by over 3000 % during the past 5 years. I do not believe that there is any investment vehicle out there, which has offered consistent returns like this.
The added advantage is that I have grown in every respect and I now see the world very differently, people that would not have given me a second glance a few years ago, actually go to great lengths to connect with me now, resources that were unavailable to me a few years ago, are far more accessible too, everything has changed for the better. No other investment could ever have given me this much meaning and contentment.
The level of success you get to enjoy is a mirror reflection of your self-identity and can never exceed your own self-development. Something this important deserves your full commitment and should be an integral part of your goals and planning for the future. Your level of personal development is like the gauge on a thermostat. As you continue to improve, and grow, you gradually move your personal thermostat to a higher and higher number. As this number increases, so too does your personal set point or the limit of what you are capable of achieving.
A thermostat that is set at 22 degrees Celsius will regulate the temperature in a room and will introduce cold or heat as needed, to ensure the temperature in the room  remains constant. Your set point is exactly the same and is based on your level of personal development and the picture you have in your mind about your self-worth. No matter what happens in your environment, a financial windfall, and loss of weight on a strict diet or relationships seeming to go well, you will always return to your own set point, dictated by your level of personal development and self-worth.
Over 80 % of lottery winners in The USA, either loose, squander or are completely bankrupt within 18 months of their large windfall. How can this be possible, they were earning $ 30 000 a year before they won $ 10 000 000, how could they manage to blow all that money in such a short space of time. Simply put, they were thrust out of their comfort zone, into unchartered territory, where their level of financial worth far exceeded their inner self-worth and level of personal development. They simply adjusted their lives until they were back in sync with their own set points.
As you continually learn and grow and you keep improving your own set point, through your commitment to on-going personal development, everything in your life will improve. As Jim Rohn, so aptly said “If you want to have more, you must become more. For things to change, you have to change. For things to get better, you have to get better”
It is thus very clear that as you grow and become more:
·         Your financial worth will increase.
·         Your relationships will improve.
·         You will connect with remarkable people.
·         Your career or business will improve.
·         Your health will improve.
·         Every external factor will eventually mirror your growth in equal correlation.
Benjamin Franklin said it so well “If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest”
Stop looking at the cost of your personal development and start to see the worth or value that it adds to your life. Any investment that you make into personal development materials, coaches or seminars is essentially free. As you learn more, you eventually earn more and you become far more valuable than you would have remained, had you not invested into your personal growth. Look at your dreams and goals, does the investment you are making into your personal development match the size and scope of these goals and dreams? When it does, you will catapult yourself forward and all your dreams and fantasies will become reality.

Turn your positive attitude to overcome challenge and exploit opportunity

Become the best version of yourself possible

There are numerous possibilities available, for you to become the best possible version of your unique self. Accept that there is only one version of you on this planet; no one else has your unique mind, life experience, character, attitude and exactly the same philosophy as you. This realisation sets you apart from the average and allows you to see that you can become the best, in your own unique way. I want you to look at yourself and see your unique strengths, abilities, experience and unlimited potential, as tools to begin and sustain your journey, toward the future that you desire.
Begin to believe in all the possibilities that are available to you and stop limiting yourself any longer, by remaining trapped in your self-imposed comfort zone.  Start to gradually stretch yourself and begin to perform in your own unique and special way, using your strengths, abilities and experience to gradually unlock your unlimited potential. Awaken your belief in yourself and start to search and discover all the opportunities that are all around you right now. This shift away from doubt and constant negative self-talk, toward belief and positive affirmation, opens your mind to possibility and will reveal numerous opportunities that have been right there all along, but have been invisible because of your lack of belief and restrictive attitude.
Learn to see all you are capable of achieving and stop limiting yourself because of your lack of belief in your abilities. We are capable of achieving outcomes that far exceed even our own wildest dreams, but we restrict ourselves to a very limited ring of possibility, because we impose restrictions due to lack of belief. I want to tell you a few stories about super human performance, where circumstances and the need to save the life of a loved one, propelled people to perform at levels, they did not think were possible.
Marie Peyton from Texas was walking behind a self-drive lawn mower, when the accelerator got stuck and the mower pulled out of her hands.  The mower was out of control and was heading across the lawn, right toward Marie’s granddaughter, Elsie.  The mower blades were still running and it was about to run over Elsie, tearing her to shreds. In a feat of super human performance, Marie covered about 3 m, grabbed hold of the mower that weighed about 150 kg and tossed it out of the way, like it was a light piece of plastic. This superhuman performance, by a grandmother that struggled to empty the dustbin every day, which weighed only 12 kg, was well beyond the realm of what Marie thought was possible for her and highlights the unlimited potential that rests within all of us, to perform at levels far greater than even we believe is possible.
Angela Carvalho, was standing in her kitchen, when she heard a loud scream coming from outside. She ran outside and saw her son trapped under a 1964 Chevrolet, Impala. The jack had failed and the car had fallen on top of his chest. She immediately grabbed hold of the car and lifted the weight off his chest. She held the car off her son for five minutes, until the neighbours arrived and managed to reset the jack and lift the car of Angela’s son. It is estimated that Angela lifted about 545 Kg (1200 Pounds) off her son and held it off his chest, for about five minutes. The current Olympic record for women for the deadlift is 228 kg (502.6 pounds). Angela held almost three times that weight off her son for almost five minutes.
I have shared these two stories with you to try to highlight that you have unlimited potential and incredible unique strengths and abilities. Have the courage to start to explore the limits of your potential and become the best possible version of yourself. I know that you are working well below the level of performance you are capable of achieving. Begin believing and I know that you will begin achieving, at levels that will astound you and everyone around you.

Stop Pursuing Success and Start Attracting It - Motivational Speaker

Stop Pursuing Success and Start Attracting It
Have you been working yourself to the bone, pursuing success, working long hours, giving your all, but somehow success just seems to elude you. It always seems to stay out of reach and even redoubling your efforts does not seem to help much. No matter how much persistence you apply and how hard you try, you seem stuck on a hamster wheel and the harder you try, the more you seem to just spin your wheels. The reason for this is simple; you are approaching success from the wrong perspective. You cannot pursue success, anything you pursue, will elude you. The amount of success you have in your life is directly proportional to who you are and never to how hard you pursue success.
The simple formula for bringing long term sustainable success into your experience is to:
·         Identify all the skills, knowledge, abilities, attitude, character and philosophy that you need to attract the level of sustainable success you desire.
·         Build a plan to gradually acquire all these skills, knowledge and abilities.
·         Commit to take action daily to work your plan and learn all the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, until you grow into the person you need to be, to attract the level of success you desire.
·         Keep refining your character, improving your attitude and moulding your philosophy, until you have evolved into the person that is suitable enough to attract all the people, relationships, circumstances and resources, which you need to sustain the success you desire.
If you want to have, do or be more, you need to commit to become more. As you become more, you become more attractive to everyone around you, everything seems to magically fall into place and success feels almost effortless. Opportunities that would have remained hidden from the person you were, will miraculously appear as if by magic and you will have everything you need to explore, exploit and finally utilise any opportunities that will come your way.
Think of your level of knowledge, skills and abilities, being depicted by the water level in a half full swimming pool. Now visualise all the success that you desire, attached to the wall of the swimming pool, at varying levels, depending on the level of success. If you wanted to attract any of the success that is attached to the wall of the pool into your life, you could for a short time cup your hands and raise the water level to enjoy that level of success.
Although as soon as you stop causing the wave, the water level will go back to where it was and that level of success would once again be out of reach. There would also be levels of success attached high up on the wall that, no matter how hard you tried to cause big enough waves in the pool, they would remain out of reach. So how do you get to reach and sustain the success that you desire? You put more water in the pool, by growing your level of knowledge, skill and ability. As you progressively raise the level of the water in the pool, you effortlessly bring that level of success into your experience.
I hope this analogy has helped you to understand this really important concept. Commit to your on-going personal development, continue to refine your attitude, keep improving your character and constantly mould your philosophy, until you become the person that you need to be, to deserve the success you desire. This unlocks your potential, avoids all the pain associated with pursuing success and makes attracting success feel almost effortless.

Pay the small price of discipline today

Discipline is a crucial concept on our path to realise the success we desire. Unfortunately the concept of discipline is misunderstood and we mistakenly confuse discipline with pain and discomfort. As you know we do everything in our power to avoid pain and to attract as much pleasure as possible. Would your negative feeling toward discipline change if you understood the true meaning of the word discipline was “to instruct or educate, to inform the mind, to prepare by instructing in correct principles and habits” Could you change your understanding about and feeling toward discipline, if you finally realised the true meaning of discipline and saw discipline as something that helps, guides and instructs, rather than something, which is difficult and causes pain.
Make the shift today and start to see discipline as something positive and very necessary, on your path to creating the success that you desire. No one that has ever achieved greatness or become a super achiever has ever done so, without huge, positive doses of daily discipline. Change the way you view discipline in your life and start to see discipline as your very necessary companion and your personal supporter, on your journey as you travel along your path of success. Sybil Stanton, in her book “The Twenty Four Hour Women” states this concept so beautifully. “Discipline is not on your back, leading you with imperatives, it is at your side nudging you with incentives.
Stop seeing discipline in a negative light, as something that is difficult and causes pain and start to see it as your greatest supporter and very necessary assistant. As soon as you make this shift, the pain associated with daily discipline disappears and is replaced by your new concept about discipline, where you now see discipline as crucial and your greatest helper. Discipline then becomes a positive and supportive concept, where you are able to incentivise and inspire yourself, to take the daily actions necessary to create the life of your dreams.
Use your new appreciation about the positive concept and necessity to use daily discipline, to help you to do the tough things that you need to do every day and the day will come very soon, when you can do the things you want to do, when you want to do them. You can choose to continue to enjoy instant gratification in the moment, never making the few small daily commitments you need to make, to carry out the daily tasks necessary to create the future of your dreams. Or you can begin to pay the small price of daily discipline and build a meaningful future, which is fulfilling and makes you feel complete. The choice is yours, remember, the price of daily discipline weighs ounces, but weight of regret weighs tonnes.
Choose daily discipline, which costs very little and you will get to enjoy success, happiness and fulfilment. Continue to choose instant gratification and neglect and the price is regret, bankruptcy, divorce, failure and plenty of long term pain. Stop looking for freedom and instant gratification in the moment and focus some of your day on discipline and creating the future that you desire. Discipline is the one positive, missing ingredient, which will catapult you toward the success you desire. Pay the small price of discipline today and you will live a far better tomorrow.

How comfortable are you feeling, locked in your comfort zone?

Is the familiarity of your current circumstances keeping you trapped in an uncomfortable place, where you do not like where you are, but the thought of taking the action necessary to change things is really daunting? Your days seem to blend, one into another, where what you do every day makes you miserable and even though you want to move your life in a different direction, you are trapped by inactivity. This place you have locked yourself in, is one of the biggest misnomers around, you call it your comfort zone, but it is probably one of the most uncomfortable places to be.
Your self-imposed comfort zone is an artificial place you have created in your mind, which limits your potential, to a minuscule part of what you are really capable of achieving. Break free from your SELF-IMPOSED comfort zone and stop limiting your achieving, because of your lack of believing. Stop accepting mediocrity, because it is comfortable and begin to experiment and explore a little, try something new today, break some new ground.
The only way to grow and expand into the type of person you need to be, to attract the kind of success you desire, is to commit to on-going learning, try new things, experiment, make some mistakes, respond to feedback, explore and measure. It is far better to try to succeed, commit to on-going growth and expansion and encounter countless challenges, than it is to simply accept your circumstances and stay trapped in a life you hate.
The only way to break out of a life you do not enjoy and to start moving toward a future that is fulfilling and filled with passion and happiness, is to change the way you do things. If you want the world to change, there is one thing that you have 100 % control over, to make this happen, that thing is YOU. Stop denying that you need to change and accept responsibility for changing yourself.
It is an incredibly liberating moment, when you realise that “Change is a door that can only be opened from within”. As you begin the journey to break out of your comfort zone and you start to see that by gradually changing all the things about yourself that are keeping you trapped in an unfulfilling life, you begin the process of reshaping your comfort zone and ultimately the life you get to lead.
This all starts with a small shift around your concept of your personal comfort zone and continues with your commitment to replace unproductive habits, with new success habits that will serve you. You never break bad habits they must be gradually replaced, by new more productive habits and routines. This is achieved by layering new behaviour patterns on top of the old unproductive ones.
Identify a few new success habits or routines, which will assist your progress toward the fulfilling life you want to lead and introduce these into your life as “Your Code Of Personal Achievement” This is a daily commitment that you make with yourself to carry out a number of new routines, which will help you to carry out the daily activities necessary to achieve your goals.
1)      Choose between 3 and 5 new productive habits or daily routines that you introduce into your life. These are habits must support your goals and help you to keep moving in the direction of your vision.
2)      Set time aside each day to carry out these new routines. This is time that is penned into your schedule each week and nothing short of a fire or major life crisis, can alter this crucial time in which you get to “Design and Create Your Future”. I call these daily scheduled meetings “Meetings With Your Future
3)      Keep using your willpower for about 90 days, to carry out these commitments with your future. After about 90 days, these new routines should be ingrained enough, so that they will have replaced, your unproductive habits, which have kept you trapped in a life you do not enjoy.
These new positive routines when adhered to over time, will become second nature, like riding a bicycle, you will just take the right actions every day without even thinking about it. This new success habit set, will just be who you are and you will almost unconsciously take the action necessary to achieve outstanding results. Practice makes permanent, so commit to learn new success habits, which support your dreams and you will get to live a winning lifestyle that is fulfilling and aligned with your dreams.
