How Do You Utilise Your Life Purpose to Create Meaningful Success?

Your life purpose is your primary guideline in life; not only can it guide you in what to do, but it can also be used to predict your future happiness!  Once you know your life purpose you can use it to determine, in advance, if a given situation is likely to work out well for you or not. The best way to assess if any opportunity is suitable is to explore any opportunity, which crosses your path and to see if it contains all the elements of your True Life Purpose.  If all the elements are present, then it is virtually a given that you will be happy and fulfilled, if you pursue that opportunity. The opposite is also true, if any opportunity does not contain all the elements of your True Life purpose, then that situation or opportunity will be extremely unsatisfying and will certainly not bring you the fulfillment, meaning and happiness you desire.

Discovering your life purpose is not only a great way of discovering all the ways of inviting meaning into your life, but it is also a way to discover enlightenment too. When you are living on purpose you are content and in addition you have a wonderful tool, which you can use to assess all the areas of your life. This useful and practical tool for your job, career, business endeavors, family, activities, hobbies and other key areas of your life, will allow you to evaluate any opportunity to see if it is aligned with what you actually want in your future.
Once you are comfortable with your life purpose, utilize your internal guidance system, your emotions, to guide you to stay in alignment with where you want your life to go.  If something or the thought of something makes you happy, fulfilled and content, then it is very likely in line with your True life purpose.

The Benefits

Knowing your own unique True Life Purpose, will give you invaluable insight and a massive advantage when looking for genuine happiness and long term fulfillment. Living on purpose makes everything really simple in your life and it feels like you are swimming with the current in a fast flowing river.  All the resources, people, knowledge and assistance you need, seems to flow toward you. Realizing your dreams and living in the magic of life will feel as natural as breathing in and out.

  • Greater self-awareness

Do you need Life Purpose work?

Please answer the questions below to try to asses if you are living according to your True Life Purpose
.
  • Are you content with your current career choice?
  • Do you know all your gifts and talents?
  • Are you repeating any life challenges?
  • Are you in a dead-end relationship?
  • Do you understand and have you mastered your life lessons?
  • Do you have any unresolved family issues or relationship issues?
  • Are you content with your life?

Once you have answered these questions, take some time to reflect on what changes, if any you need to make in your life right now.  You must follow your internal guidance system and try to only do those things that bring you joy and fulfillment. Follow the very important rule of STOP, BREATH, THINK and then ACT before making any drastic changes in your life.
Search deep inside yourself and be open to listen to your own internal voice.  After really listening to your internal voice and seeing through your internal eyes and listening to the message sent to you by your intuition, only then are you equipped to make any decisions about any changes that may be necessary.

Intuition

I like to think of intuition as the message, which comes to you before you think.  Intuition is a very powerful gift that we all have and as such we must try to re-open ourselves to learning the art of utilizing this amazing power, to guide us in all our decisions.

Nothing has a greater effect on building relationships than Appreciation

Appreciating others is one of the principles of success that draws little attention. Research has shown that, up to 88% of employees who leave their jobs do so because they feel unacknowledged or unappreciated. We only have to consider the impact of a lack of appreciation will have on the people in our personal relationships, to realize the impact it must have on the people around us in our businesses! “Whether you are an entrepreneur, manager, teacher, parent, coach, or simply a friend, if you want to be successful with other people, you must master the art of appreciation”
Appreciation Builds Influence
If you want to build influence with other people, to create deeper, trusting, mutually beneficial relationships, you must show appreciation. Consider when you’ve been on the receiving end of uncommon appreciation—when someone has made you feel appreciated and special. What was the impact of that act of appreciation on the relationship? How did you feel about that person? How do you feel now about the impact that person has had on your life?
Appreciation Motivates
There is a major mismatch in how much employees value appreciation and how much their employers recognize it as important. Studies have shown that employees consistently place “appreciation” as the number one thing that influences their motivation. Yet their employers, place it as number eight, below wages, job security, opportunities for promotion, and even discipline. This mismatch causes a huge disparity, between the level of appreciation employees need and the actual appreciation, offered by leaders within the organization.
Think about the people who could support you the most in your goals and in creating your ideal life. How do you appreciate them? What kind of impact could an increase in appreciation have on their desire to be a member of your support team?
Individualize your appreciation for the most impact
In order to have the most impact when you practice appreciation, consider the way in which the individual likes to be appreciated. Each person has a dominant way in which their brain takes in information and processes it—auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. If you are attempting to show appreciation to someone by telling them thank you, yet they are dominantly a visual person and need to see it, your “thank you” won’t have the impact that it could.
Gary Chapman, author of The Five Love Languages, suggests that you observe how the other person shows appreciation or gives love to understand better which “language” they prefer. You can also ask a question like, “When have you felt the most loved in your life? Could you describe that to me? What did the other person do that made you feel loved?” Sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error. But if you’re committed to finding the right medium for your message of appreciation, you’ll eventually get it right!
Appreciation Activates the Law of Intention
One of the reasons for calling appreciation a “secret” of success is that it sometimes pays dividends in indirect, yet very real, ways. According to the Law of Intention, we attract more of what we focus on. If we’re constantly focused on the things we don’t like about our lives, our thoughts, actions and words will be focused on negative things we don’t want and we will tend to attract more of exactly that into our experience. Yet if we are in the mode of appreciation and gratitude, focusing on the things we like and appreciate and are grateful for, we’ll attract more of the same into our lives. When we are grateful we also become more “attractive” to others—they want to be around us more!
Be Generous when showing your Appreciation
Increase your awareness of what others are doing around you. Even if another’s actions don’t directly benefit you, be aware of things others do that you can appreciate. Has someone created a thing of beauty? Did you overhear a mother speaking kindly and patiently to her whining child? Is the clerk in the checkout line dealing with rushed customers with grace? What are the ways that you can be in the mode of appreciation throughout your day? How can you appreciate others around you?
Appreciation Starts with You First
To really enjoy the benefits of showing appreciation, you must learn to show appreciation to yourself first.  In addition to appreciating what’s happening outside you, be sure to especially acknowledge and appreciate yourself. Even if you’re showing a lot of gratitude and appreciation for others, when you’re constantly berating yourself or beating yourself up internally, you’re not creating true abundance.
Give appreciation and gratitude a whirl for the next seven days. You will not only amaze yourself with all the things you will start to get done, but the people around you will also seem to respond and support you far more. You really are magnificent, appreciate yourself and everyone around you and your world will transform and everything will positively change.

Turn Learning into Actual Improvement

Turn Learning into Actual Improvement
The real measure around whether all the effort, time and resources, you are putting into trying to improve yourself, is working and making real and tangible differences in your life, is easily measured in the improved or better results you are getting to enjoy as a result of all your efforts. Remember you attract success by the person you become, as you become more, you most certainly attract more.  If you are investing a vast amount of time, energy and resources into your self-development and you are feeling frustrated, as you seem to just remain trapped in the same place, then you may very well be spinning your wheels, covering a mass of material and learning very little. The most important thing about personal development is not to haphazardly cover as much material as possible. Just like any goal or outcome you are attempting to achieve, you must have clarity of purpose and a definite plan to achieve the outcome you desire.
There are people that attend every seminar possible, they read all the books and listen to audio recordings at every turn, yet they never seem to see improved results in their lives. This is simply because they are only circulating a vast amount of knowledge through their heads and never applying or using any of it. If success was just about knowledge or information, everyone with an internet connection, would be able to have thin thighs in 30 days, earn millions of dollars, spending only two hours a day on the internet or build any success they wanted after paying only three instalments of only $ 39.95. As you know the reality is quite different, sustainable success is never about knowledge. It is about finding the right knowledge and then turning that newfound knowledge into skill, application and new success habits.
There is a massive difference between knowing everything and knowing what you should do and actually taking inspired action, applying the right knowledge and doing what you know. The difference is found in the way that you turn all the information or knowledge into meaningful learning and improvement. Learning will only equal better earning, when you have a vision or reason for undertaking the seminar, reading the book or listening to the audio program. This clarity of purpose and focus allows you to gain real and lasting benefit from your investment into self-improvement. The reason you invest time, energy and resources into improving, is to allow you to get better results. To help you to get better results from all your self-improvement activities, I offer you a summary of my method below.
1)      Explore your goals and choose an area that needs improving (e.g. Improve presentation skills)
2)      This is the focus of your self-improvement efforts for the next 90 days.
3)      Buy 3 books, 5 Audio books and sign up to do at min one seminar, related to your area of focus (e.g. improve presentation skills)
4)      Set aside 30 minutes – 1 hour a day to consume the three books over the next 90 days.
5)      Read, re-read, underline, highlight, put notes in margins and at the end of chapters, until you have absorbed and understood the book, cover to cover.
6)      Extract the three most important concepts from the book.
7)      Build a plan to include at least one of these concepts into your daily routines over the next 90 days. They must be included into your weekly and daily planning and action lists.
8)      Review your progress and see how well you are integrating these into your life, daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.
9)      Listen to only those five audio books over those same 90 days. I find I get the most benefit from each program, if I listen to each audio book at least 5 times before proceeding to the next one.
10)   Extract the three best ideas from each audio program.  Commit to introduce the most valuable concept into your routine. It must be added into your weekly planning schedule and actioned daily.
11)   When you attend the seminar, I listen intently, making notes only when you hear something new or valuable. Record the proceedings on a recording pen and listen to this in your car over and over again.
12)   Once again extract the three most useful ideas and introduce these into your schedule.
My experience has shown me that although I am reading three books, listening to five audio books and attending a seminar, in the field of my focused area of growth, every 90 days. There always seems to be a common theme that emerges from all of these and I manage to find only about three new ideas to implement and introduce into my life.
The secret to make this work for you is to:
·         Choose one area to focus on every 90 days
·         Choose the best three ideas from all the material and implement these into your schedule.  Use willpower to take action and introduce them into your life, until they become part of your new habit set.
·         Measure and review your progress daily, weekly and monthly and ensure that you are actually applying the new ideas in your life.
·         Constantly strive to stay focused on only one area at a time and commit to keep improving.
