Money creates far more than just freedom

Money creates far more than just freedom
What is your relationship with Money? Do you feel guilty for having expectations that there is a transfer of money, to you for products or services that you supply? Too many people feel guilty when they charge for their services.  They feel that money is not aligned with their spiritual purpose and that expecting a fair price for services rendered is not a true reflection of their true value.  There is never a reason to feel guilty for charging a fair price for all services rendered, when everything is in balance and there is a fair exchange of value between parties.
It is time for you to upgrade your relationship with money and to start seeing money as only a measure of value. Both money and value have the same number of letters, it is time to shift the way you view money and to begin seeing the exchange of money as merely a fair exchange for the value you have offered.  As you make the choice to step into a more empowered relationship with money and you look on all transactions as only a fair exchange of value, you will stop seeing yourself as, someone who trades hours for money and you will start to identify the true value you have to offer. As you train your mind to make the shift and you stop viewing yourself as someone that merely trades dollars for money, you begin to see the real value that you have to offer and charging a realistic price for the value you add becomes comfortable.
As you break free from your unconscious habit of exchanging time for money, you will immediately stop feeling resentful about money. As you view money as merely a means of representing value and your contribution as a means of adding value to people, you change your relationship with money and more money or value will flow to you.
As you see your true value and you begin to attract more money (value) to yourself. You are able to establish a strong foundation of financial security that will give you the opportunity to have more freedom and choice.  A strong financial foundation allows you to become far more focused and frees you up to concentrate your efforts on things that really matter to you. Recognise your true value today and start to build a fortress of financial security around yourself. The benefits of living a life free from financial worry stretches far beyond mere freedom of choice. As your financial cushion grows, you begin to live a life free from unnecessary stress, your health improves and you have far more energy.
As your financial foundation grows and solidifies into financial independence, you free your mind up and you are able to stroke your creative juices. As you align yourself with abundance and prosperity, you build mutually beneficial bridges and connection with people that can support you and whom you can support in return. This helps you to keep growing and expanding, constantly becoming more and allowing you to turn your success into significance. Significance is a place where you are able to help others to grow and achieve the outcomes they desire. I believe that we are striving for significance and as this can only really be achieved by helping others, we must move our focus away from merely becoming successful and strive to help as many people as is humanly possible get what they want.
Commit to keep spreading your gifts and allow value to flow freely around you, as you engage in fair exchange, with everyone that you touch. See money or value as a flow of energy and see it circulating from people through you and then back out into the universe once again. As you grow and expand, you are better able to participate in this flow of energy and value. Commit to support important causes and give freely to inspiration, care for those less fortunate than you and leave a legacy of real love and grace.

Turn Challenge into a Success Tool

Turn Challenge into a Success Tool
The world we inhabit is constantly changing and new challenges cross our paths daily. These ever changing times require that you start to stretch yourself beyond your self-imposed comfort zone and means that you must accept that there are going to be many occasions where you will be forced to plunge headfirst into uncomfortable situations. True, this will cause some pain and discomfort for a moment, but it's the quickest path to generating long-term fulfilment and sustainable success. Change and challenge are synonymous with success. As you enter a path of growth and you choose success over mediocrity, you will most certainly encounter challenges and roadblocks along the way. None of the challenges that you will encounter on your path to success are reserved only for you and your circumstances. They are merely a fact of life and the natural process, that anyone who chooses to stretch themselves, will encounter. Almost every challenge that you will encounter on your path to success has most certainly be encountered and overcome by someone before you. Learn the art of expecting challenge, welcoming it and viewing it as merely a part of the journey to uncovering and living the success you desire.
From this moment forward know that challenges are just a part of the success process and in many ways a very necessary part of that process. The challenges that you encounter, are very often the very catalyst that unlocks, opportunities that may have remained hidden, had you not encountered that specific challenge. In the future when you are faced with any roadblocks or challenges, do not let them overwhelm you, keep going and know that every challenge is just an opportunity to learn and grow. There is light all around you and challenges are just an integral part of the journey toward new and better outcomes in your life.
The one certainty, in our lives right now, is frequent challenge, as challenge seldom happens in a vacuum. We can either allow the challenges that cross our paths to control us and our futures or we can consciously anticipate, work with and/or around every challenge we encounter. By learning to co-operate with challenge, you can uncover and utilize the numerous opportunities that these challenging times offer and discover a vehicle to assist you to realize your dreams.
Shift you thinking away from viewing any challenge or roadblock as a crisis. What picture does facing a CRISIS create in your mind? By simply changing the words you use to describe events in your life, you will immediately feel very differently about them and your responses will become more effective. See and describe everything you would traditionally have viewed as a crisis as a merely a challenge, that you expected and just one step closer to the outcome you want to achieve. Challenges after all are just events, that when viewed differently are opportunities in disguise. Many new ideas, concepts and opportunities will emerge after encountering any challenges or obstacles, if you are willing to slow down, search, discover and learn. Any challenge you may face may be a time of testing, but it is also an opportunity for renewal and growth.
Look at what life is reflecting back at you right now, this reflection was created by your thoughts, actions and beliefs. If you don’t like the reflection, you can change everything by simply changing the way you do things. Accept that not all the changes you make, will deliver the desired results. If things don’t work, adjust your approach but never a give up. All progress requires change, but not all change is progress. Change the way you view any challenges that cross your path and the challenges you encounter will change from a crisis, into something expected and useful.

Are you afraid of becoming a super achiever?

Are you afraid of becoming a super achiever?
Are you sabotaging your potential, because you are afraid of success or worse, you have never taken the time to find out what success really means to you? Don’t be too hasty to answer this question. I see people all around me all the time that have incredible skill and ability, but they remain trapped in unfulfilling lives with no meaning. Allow yourself to open your mind and to dream once again, to allow yourself to have huge expectations and to see all the possibilities that are available to you. Prepare your mind to become massively successful and to begin living a life of influence and meaning. This is best achieved if you follow this simple formula:
1)      Make time to sit back and decide what success means to you. Until you know what success really means to you specifically, you will be chasing after something that you may not even want. Does “success” mean fame and fortune to you or is it simply the freedom to spend time with the people that matter most in your life?
2)      Believe in yourself and dare to dream. See the possibilities that abound all around and allow yourself to have huge expectations that are aligned with your unique concept of what “success” means to you.
3)      Keep investing in your personal growth and keep preparing for the opportunities that are going to cross your path. As Oprah says’ “Success is when opportunity meets preparation”. We all have many opportunities cross our paths, throughout our lives. Make sure that you are investing enough time and resources, into your personal growth, so that you are adequately prepared when the next one comes your way.
4)      Stop pursuing success and shift your mind away from “how can I get it?” and start asking yourself the question “What do I have to become to attract or deserve the type of success I desire?” This shift sees you invest your resources into becoming more and thereby attracting everything you desire into your life. Become a great steward of your existing talents and skills and invest energy into growing these into the skill and knowledge base you need to achieve everything you desire.
5)      Allow yourself to break free from your trained expectation that all progress must be linear in nature. Stop thinking that you are only warming up for the success that it is coming, start living every moment as part of the journey and allow yourself to enjoy every step in the process. Everything that comes your way is on the way to the success you desire. Nothing you encounter is ever in the way.
6)      Always give 100 %. If you are resting give yourself completely to rest. If you are working or learning new skills, then give 100 % to that. Giving 100 % commitment and effort, striving to be your best all the time is crucial when you want to succeed. Note I said give your best, not be the best.
7)       Align you private and public personas, strive to always be authentic and show the world your true self. Always strive to project your true values and show integrity in all dealings with others.
Keep preparing and expect the universe to show up with new opportunities at any time. Opportunities, connections with the right people and happy coincidences can happen in an instant, so invest time, energy and resources into preparing for the opportunities and success you deserve.

Escape the hamster wheel of perpetual busyness

Escape the hamster wheel of perpetual busyness
We allow our days to be consumed by busyness, chasing after our own tails, constantly putting out fires and achieving very little. Is this the best way to run our lives and businesses? Have the courage to turn down the noise that surrounds you, plan your days in advance and slow down, focusing your energies on a few priorities. This shift will allow you to begin developing better traction and will allow your pent-up creativity to begin flowing once again.
How are you doing with your intention and desire to change your world, are you delivering on the promises that you have made to your family, to positively change their lives? Or are the years passing by and all that seems to change is your level of frustration and the amount of wrinkles on your face. Now is the time to begin changing all that by making a few small shifts to the way you think and operate in your life.
  • Focus your energy on only a few meaningful priorities at a time.
  • Breakyour year into four equal segments of 90 days each
  • Havee a definite purpose that you want to fulfil during each segment
  • Measure your progress daily, weekly, monthly and at the end of each segment.
  • Learnn to say no to the good, so that you have capacity to tackle the great.
  • Schedulee rest and rejuvenation time into your schedule.
Until you introduce these 5 key new success skills into you daily routines and work to make them your new habit set, you will keep spinning your wheels and remain trapped in the same cycle of perpetual busyness. The years will just pass, in a blur of dissatisfaction and nothing will or can change. When you are trapped in this cycle, you often can’t see the forest for the trees. You are stuck in the frame of your life and all you seem to do is blankly stare out of this frame. You find it difficult to break out and make the changes you know are crucial, if you are going to break free and begin to live the life your dreams. Always remember that all progress requires change, but not all change is progress.
The best way to break free from this hamster wheel of constant busyness and little or no effectiveness is to get some outside help, in the form of a coach. When you engage the services of an appropriate coach or mentor, you get the benefit of having someone look at your life with a fresh set of eyes and from a completely new perspective.  They will help you to find harmonious balance in your life and become your accountability partner. This fresh perspective and guidance will help you to slow down and allow you to begin to introduce the five crucial concepts described above into your life.
Give yourself permission today to slow down for a while and invest the time into deciding what you really want. Know with absolute clarity what you want to achieve, have purpose, and choose only a few priorities that you will focus all your energy on for the next 90 days. Schedule time into your schedule to take these actions daily and then pull the trigger, begin taking daily action and the next 90 days will begin to finally deliver the kind of results you have been looking for all your life. Success is never about how much you can cram into your day, it is about focus, purpose and prioritisation.

What is your maximum?

What is your maximum?
If I asked you the maximum number of push-ups you could do?  You would probably answer a low number like 5, as push-ups are not there on your scale of important things to do. What about if you did your maximum of five and I said that you could rest for a while. Could you do another five after that rest? Of course you could. If you kept doing five push-ups twice a day for a week, could you do 10 push-ups, by the end of the week? Yes of course you could, but I thought the maximum you could do was five? If you now kept doing 10 push-ups, twice a day for another week, could you now do 20 push-ups? I am sure that you are getting the picture. Five is not your maximum; it is only your maximum for now.
Start looking at everything in your life this same way. Stop looking at your current abilities and level of skill and then using this as the barometer to determine the size and scope of your dreams and expectations. Allow your mind to see that your current level of skill and ability is only a barometer of your potential for now; it is by no means a measure of the maximum that you are capable of achieving. I know this sounds like common sense but if you want to attract more success into your life, you cannot pursue it with your current level of skill and ability. You must first open your mind and explore possibility, not from a position of your current abilities and capability, but rather from a position of what you are capable of becoming in the future. Once you create a clear picture of what you want to see in your future, based on what you can become. You must change your approach from one in which you pursue something that is beyond your grasp and your current ability, to looking for ways to grow your knowledge, skill and ability to a level where you can begin to attract the type of success you have seen in your future.
When you make this small shift, two things happen:
1)      You are able to stretch yourself and see possibility that would have remained hidden from you, as long as you continued see your potential from your current level of skill and ability.
2)      You will stop pursuing success; you will grow into the type of person you need to be to attract the resources, people and circumstances into your life to effortlessly enjoy the success that you desire.
The reason most people stay trapped in lives that are unsatisfying and unfulfilling is that they cannot see all they are capable of achieving as they view the future from their current position. This forces them to view their potential from a very limited perspective. They keep themselves trapped in their self-imposed comfort zone that they have built around their current ability. Open your mind today and see that your current ability is by no means your maximum ability. You are capable of achieving incredible things, if you are willing to look at the future, through a pair of eyes that first sees what you are capable of becoming and then using this as a barometer of possibility, deciding what you are capable of achieving.
Allow yourself to once again have huge expectations and dream about all you are capable of achieving. Then go about the business of growing yourself into the type of person you need to be, to attract exactly that level of success into your life. Shift your mind away from having and pursuing and start to focus your energy and resources on becoming. This small shift will allow you to attract what will feel like almost effortless success into your life.

Cash-in and turn Goal setting into success

How many times have you started a New Year, proclaiming that this is your year, this is going to be the year that you finally transform yourself and deliver on your promises and begin living your dreams? Has this year been any different, are you finally delivering on your big mouth promises this time? Or has this year proved to be the same as every one that has gone before? Succeeding and turning off, this perpetual cycle of failure, is just a few small shifts in thinking and attitude away. You do not need to reboot your life, you need to make a few well directed shifts in the way you do things.
A few years ago my son was in his final year at school. He was really struggling; he was in that part of the class that makes the top half possible. In fact he was in the part of the class that makes the bottom of the class look like geniuses. Once a year my wife and I go away to address our goals and plans for the next year. It was around May and as Clyde was struggling so much, a lot of our weekend was spent discussing how we could help him and just get him through the year. Eventually after going backwards and forwards, we finally came up with a plan to help him address a few key areas in his life. He never had enough time to reboot his life, all he had time to do was to make a few important shifts in the way he did things. These few small shifts saw him go from the bottom of the class, to the student that got the prize for the most improved student of the year. I want to share these concepts with you today. They completely changed the course of Clyde’s life. I know they can and will do the same for you, if you are willing to try them and bring them into your life.
Focus on only a few
Focus your energy and concentrate all your efforts on only the most important priorities. Stop sweating the small stuff and give 100 % of your energy and focus, to only a few things that will make the most difference. Experience has shown me that it is only about half a dozen actions, done every day that deliver more than 80 % of the results in our lives. When you try to tackle too many things at once, you land up doing none and achieving nothing.
Expect challenges
When you are on any journey, there will always be challenges and roadblocks. Expect them, plan for them and know that they are not what define you. Allow yourself to make mistakes, give yourself some room for error. Mistakes are all part of the human experience. Mistakes are things to learn from, not to shrink from. Mistakes are just a part of life and they are just another part of the journey, they are on your way to discovering the success you desire.
Clarity
Get a crystal clear picture of exactly what you want to achieve and quantify the outcome you want to achieve. When you have a clear picture of what you want and you focus all your energy on making just that happen, magic begins to unfold. When everything is clear and quantified and all your actions are measured daily, weekly and quarterly, you have a everything you need to stay on track. Whatever gets measured gets done.
Introduce these three simple strategies into your life and you will finally see all your dreams begin to unfold and you will finally begin to live in the magic of life.

View your cup as both half full and half empty.

View your cup as both half full and half empty.
There are obvious benefits from observing the people around you that have achieved the type of success you want to achieve. When you observe the actions they take, the places they spend their time, the books they read, the way they talk and how they conduct their lives. You have a set of guidelines that you can use to structure your life, a recipe for creating similar success in your own life. The same is true for the people in your environment that constantly make the same errors in judgement and seem to be trapped on a treadmill of challenges. When you observe their behaviours, you become aware of all the places to avoid, things not to do, in fact you have a perfect blue print for helping you to eliminate all the things from your life that are holding you back and keeping you trapped in the average.
There is a school of thinking that promotes the idea that states, we must only focus on the positive going on around us and that we must avoid even seeing or allowing ourselves to be exposed to any negative in our lives. I think this is a very naive strategy and only gives you half of the picture. I most certainly do not want to go through my life only seeing half of the picture and living an unrealistic life, in which I believe that everything should just be positive and go smoothly.
It is this very unrealistic set of expectations that actually sets people up for massive and unexpected falls. Just as there is no such thing as a one sided, positive magnet, there too is no such thing as a one sided positive life. Challenges arise all the time, which test your resolve and make achieving success a bumpy road. I say that when you look around you and you see the cup as both half full and half empty, you allow yourself to have a complete perspective and you have a complete picture of all the possibilities. You get to observe the possible challenges and you have a better perspective and a more complete picture of the entire situation. This gives you more information to help discover and exploit any opportunities and plan for the inevitable challenges that will cross your path.
When you have a balanced perspective and you look at the world from a realistic point of view, where you know your abilities and believe you are capable of achieving a positive outcome, yet you expect, anticipate and plan for obstacles, roadblocks and challenges. You equip yourself to travel a path to long term sustainable success. On the other hand if you try to live an impossible life, where you only see the positive around you and you ignore any talk about negative, you are setting yourself for disappointment and disaster. Accept that believing in yourself and that you can and will succeed is always a crucial part of the success process. It is just as important to balance this optimism with a balanced perspective around the potential to encounter challenges. This balanced and harmonious perspective will give you the tools and inspiration to manage any challenges that may cross your path.
It is for this reason that observing the all the activities “Failures” engage in, is a great success tool and one of the ways to accelerate your own success. You can save yourself a whole lot of time and heartache, if you learn all the things to avoid and as such you are able to focus your energy on carrying out activities that will contribute positively to the outcomes you want to achieve.
