Your Thoughts Create Things

Your thoughts create everything in your life, from the material world you inhabit, to the body you live in, to the level of health you get to enjoy, to the relationships you have and even the spiritual choices you make. Don’t you think that something, which has the ability to shape everything in your experience, namely your thoughts, should get some special attention? You can no longer allow them to just randomly float through your mind, like a piece of flotsam floating aimlessly around on the ocean. It is time to consciously order your thoughts by creating a set of guidelines for directing them in the future.

What are these guidelines?

The guidelines I am referring to are a crystal clear vision statement, which is written down, easily understood and repeated regularly throughout your day. Once you understand where you want your life to go in the future and you support this picture with a set of detailed strategic plans, you are able to order your thoughts, which will in turn drive you to take the daily action. Consistent, directed thoughts, which direct you to take the right goal specific action daily, will always result in super achievement.

Everything Starts as a Thought

Everything you see around you today was first CONCEIVED in someone’s imagination and then with unwavering BELIEF and a dose of daily inspired action, they turned a simple electrical charge in their mind, into something real and tangible. You too can convert your thoughts into something real and tangible, if you are prepared to follow the simple principal described above, where you order your thoughts so that they guide you to take the right goal specific action daily.

Have Huge Expectations

It takes as much energy to create a huge set of goals as it does to create a very limited set, which does not stretch you at all. Are your thoughts and expectations in line with what you are truly capable of achieving or are you selling yourself short by holding onto those small, uninspiring dreams and goals? Create “HUGE” expectations about everything. Dare to dream really big, inspiring dreams. The larger your expectations, the greater will be the outcomes or results you can create in the future. You will never exceed your own expectations, so stop limiting your potential with small nebulous dreams and dare to see great possibility in the future.
Live life, be creative and have huge EXPECTATIONS.

It is those very expectations that will inspire you to extend yourself and drive you to achieve your full potential. Limited expectations will deliver limited results, whilst HUGE expectations will deliver the results you deserve. You truly are magnificent and armed with a mind which is filled with ordered thoughts, which drive you to take the right actions daily, you can achieve anything
.
Choose your Thoughts Wisely

Choose your thoughts wisely and strive for excellence every day. Ask yourself this question throughout your day - “Is this the most effective way to invest my time”? Whenever you feel that you are not utilizing your time efficiently, immediately identify a more productive way to invest your time and alter your activities accordingly. You can become a super achiever if you use your thoughts to inspire the right daily actions and you utilise you time effectively.

Use your Time Wisely

Until you stop expending your energy on the small stuff, you will never have room to make the really important things happen for you. Discover that one thing that will help you make a meteoric stride toward your success and then apply consistent and persistent effort daily until it is done. All super achievers know the value of prioritisation. Focus your energy on carrying out the right priority actions every day and success is not only possible, but inevitable.

Travel to the Future

Clarity of Thought and a Written down Vision, allows you to travel to the future and see the reward, which awaits you. Once you know the promise tomorrow holds, it is far easier to pay the price of consistent effort today. This clarity of thought allows you to start rehearsing your future by visualizing it in your NOW? The more often you do this the more structural tension you create between your current reality and the wonderful future you have envisioned. This structural tension will help you to stay inspired, even when things get tough.

Keep Rehearsing your Future

No stage performance would ever be successful or a hit without rehearsal. Actors spend hours doing things over and over again until they perform perfectly. When you apply this principle in your life, visualizing yourself performing the goal specific actions you need to succeed perfectly, you dramatically increase your chances of creating your future, exactly the way you want it.

Invest the effort to order your thoughts, create a vision and a set of detailed strategic plans to guide you, take inspired action daily, visualise your future success in the now and every possibility becomes available to you. You now have the formula for unlocking your dreams, now all that is required, is your commitment and a healthy dose of daily discipline and you can have, do and be anything you want.

We all get Knocked Down – Achievers Don’t Stay Down

No matter how great and crystal clear your vision for the future may be or even how sophisticated and detailed your strategic plans may be, challenges are still going to cross your path at some point. The reality of any journey through life, whether it is a carefully planned one or one which is just allowed to unfold randomly, at some point, you are going to encounter challenges, setbacks, roadblocks, you are going to make mistakes and you are going to get knocked down.

Every One Gets Knocked Down at some Point

The secret to super achievement is to spend as little time as possible licking your wounds when you encounter any of the inevitable challenges on your journey towards success, before you pull things together and get on with life. The measure of who you really are is never in the fact that you got knocked down; everyone gets knocked down at some point, but rather in how long you allow things to keep you down, before you begin taking the positive action necessary to get you back on your feet.

Choose your Attitude and Level of Happiness Wisely

You have the ability to choose your attitude and level of happiness every day. You can either allow things to get you down or you can make a different, better choice, where you choose to view any challenges as merely vehicles, which are moving you closer to hidden opportunities. Make this crucial shift today and stop allowing any challenges or difficulties to overwhelm you any longer. When something difficult or challenging happens, and it will, choose to see it as something, which is merely polishing you up, to make your life more beautiful. Challenges are very often the very catalyst that you need to help you make different or better choices.

Success Teaches Little – Challenges Teach Much

Commit to approach every challenge, setback, roadblock or mistakes that you make, and see them as profound and powerful teachers, which will propel you to greater levels of, wisdom and knowledge. When you make this shift, it becomes possible to celebrate your mistakes and thereby, turn them into something positive. Mistakes and challenges are inevitable on any success journey, learning and growing as a result of them, is optional. Choose on-going learning and growth and your journey will not only culminate in success, but will be far more enjoyable too.

Learn from – Never Repeat Challenges

See challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. Never measure your performance or self-worth against any challenges you are facing or have faced. The measure of a person is not in the fact that they have faced or are facing any challenge, but rather in how they choose to respond to them. Everyone encounters challenges and makes mistakes, so the challenges and mistakes are not at issue. The only time you should question yourself when faced with challenges or mistakes, is when you keep repeating the same errors and facing the same challenges over and over again.

Bring Harmony into Your Experience

When you are centred, balanced and you operate from connected place, where you have harmony in your life, it is far easier to manage and mitigate any challenges you face. What you get to experience in your outer world is an accurate reflection of how you are thinking, acting and projecting your inner world to everyone around you. If you are constantly experiencing frustrating situations and people are always treating you badly, then have the courage to read the signals and accept that something is out of sync.

Action Idea: Take a close look at your life right now. Look at how you are respecting and treating yourself. Is it aligned with what is required for you to succeed or is your negative self-talk and attitude affecting the level of harmony in your life?  If things are out of sync, you need to make some meaningful changes in your life, to get your attitude and self-talk in line with where you want to go.

You Shape your Experience

Rise to the challenge and realize that you have a unique capacity to shape your life, search around and especially within yourself for the kind of growth, which will shape and fulfil you. This challenge may seem impossible, but the effort will most certainly be worthwhile. Remember even the highest mountain can be surmounted by building winding pathways.

Do you Know your Limits?

If I asked you the maximum number of push-ups you could do?  You would probably answer a low number like 5, as push-ups are not there on your scale of important things to do. What about if you did your maximum of five and I said that you could rest for a while. Could you do another five after you had rested for a short while? Of course you could. If you kept doing five push-ups twice a day for a week, could you do 10 push-ups, by the end of the week? Yes of course you could, but hold on a second, I thought you said that the maximum number of push-ups you could do was five? If you now kept doing 10 push-ups, twice a day for another week, could you now do 20 push-ups? I am sure that you are getting the picture. Five is not your maximum; it is only your maximum for now.

There are no Limits to what we can achieve

Start looking at everything in your life this same way. Stop looking at your current abilities and level of skill and then using this as the barometer to determine the size and scope of your dreams and expectations. Allow your mind to see that your current level of skill and ability is only a barometer of your potential right now; it is by no means a measure of the maximum that you are capable of achieving.

Is It Common Practice?

I know this sounds like common sense, but if you want to attract more success into your life, you cannot attract it with your current level of skill and ability. You must first open your mind and explore possibility, not from a position of your current abilities and capability, but rather from a position of what you are capable of becoming, in the future. Once you create a clear picture of what you want to see in your future, based on what you can become. You immediately change your approach from one in which you pursue something, which is beyond your grasp and your current ability, to looking for ways to grow your knowledge, skill and ability to a level where you can begin to become the kind of person you need to be to attract the type of success you have visualised in your future.
Make this small shift and two things will happen:
·         You will be able to stretch yourself and see possibility, which would have seemed beyond the realm of possibility before, when viewed from your current position. You would now begin to see your world open up and all possibility would open up to you. “NO-THING” is impossible any longer. All you need to do to attract any level of success into your experience is map a path to become the type of person who deserves the level of success you desire.
·         You will stop pursuing success, as anything you pursue will elude you. You take the daily action necessary to grow into the type of person you need to be to attract the exact resources, people and circumstances you need to effortlessly enjoy the success that you desire.

Break Free and Live your Potential

The reason most people stay trapped in lives that are unsatisfying and unfulfilling, is because they, keep looking at their future possibility from their current position. It is impossible to see all you are capable of achieving, if you do not step out of your current limited place and view the future through a set of eyes, which is not limited by who you currently are. See the future from a position of who you can become.

When you limit visualising possibility from a position of what is, instead of what can be, you view your potential from a very limited perspective. This narrow perspective will keep you trapped in your self-imposed comfort zone, which has been constructed around your current ability. Open your mind today and see that your current ability is by no means your maximum ability. You are capable of achieving incredible things, if you are willing to look at the future, through a pair of eyes that first sees what you are capable of becoming and then using this as a barometer of possibility, to help you see what you are capable of achieving.

Have Huge Expectations

Set you mind free and allow yourself to once again have huge expectations and dream about all you are capable of achieving. Then go about the business of investing time every day to grow yourself into the exact type of person you need to be, to attract exactly that level of success into your life. Shift your mind away from having and pursuing and start to focus your energy and resources on becoming. This small shift will allow you to attract what will feel like almost effortless success into your life.

Invest Time to Grow and Become the Success you Desire

We are in the home stretch of 2012, there are just on 76 days left until the yet another year is over. Look back over your successes to date. Are you satisfied with your performance this year? Have finally turned that corner and this year will have proved to be the one where everything has started to come together? Or are you still spinning your wheels and feeling trapped in a cycle of apparent busyness and limited effectiveness. Now that we are entering that last crucial portion of the year, it is time to begin finalising the outcomes you want to achieve this year or a perfect time to start setting the foundation for a great 2013.

Stop investing so much time into admiring and studying your favourite sports team and knowing every statistic about every player in the team and to focus your energy on growing and becoming. Commit to shift your focus from knowing and admiring the exploits of others and begin to focus more energy on getting to know and to grow yourself. Imagine how much you will grow and how much more you will become, if you make these few small but crucial shifts.

Instead of:
  • Reading the sports page and memorising every statistic about every player – you read a self-improvement book and discover one new success habit that you can apply in your life.
  • Listening to the news, sport and music in your car – you listen to an educational or inspirational cd.
  • Spending your weekends glued to the sports channel – You watch an instructional DVD or attend a seminar.
  • Spending hours discussing sports scores and player statistics -  You discuss your goals and dreams and the path you are taking to achieve them
  • Vegetating into front of the TV every night – you take one hour to read a book or meditate.
  • Reading sports or gossip magazines – you read success magazine or something similar.
  • Gossiping about other people  - you spoke about your life lessons and plans for personal growth
You Attract Success by the Person You Become

You attract success by the person you become, so how do you think those positive shifts, away from entertainment toward education and personal growth, would affect your own life scores and statistics?

Change Your EVE Ratio

I am not saying that you must completely reboot your life and stop all entertainment in your life. I am saying that, if you committed to make a few small shifts and you began to change your current entertainment ratio of about 500 hours of entertainment, to every one hour of education and you began to change this to a ratio of 50 hours of entertainment, to every one hour of education. You would see amazing results begin to manifest in your life.

Choose to Succeed

As this year closes and the New Year dawns, commit to finally make the choice to succeed and stop spinning your wheels. As long as you keep entertaining yourself to death and you never make time for your personal growth, you will see another year fly by in a blur of dissatisfaction. Introduce these few positive changes into your life and begin the process of expanding and become the type of person, who deserves the type of success you desire.

Stop the Pursuit and Start Becoming

Stop pursuing success, as anything you pursue will elude you and start attracting success, by becoming the type of person, who deserves the success that you desire. As you create better balance between the amounts of time you spend entertaining yourself and the time you spend growing yourself, you will finally have everything in place to start to realise all your dreams. Invest as much time into practicing, training, growing and developing your own skills, knowledge and abilities as the people that you watch at your favourite sporting events do. Imagine how that will completely transform your life?

Spread your Grace and Blessings Freely

Almost everyone I have met wants to make a difference during their lifetimes, to leave some sort of a legacy after they have completed their last revolution around the sun. Making a difference is not just about volunteering to assist people, who come from a less advantaged background than you do. If you want to begin making a real difference, it is time to shift your thinking away from seeing making a difference as an event or something you must do. Make the shift today and start to see, making a difference, as a new way of being. See it as a new way of conducting yourself. This shift albeit small and subtle, will allow you to really start making a real and lasting difference, every day in your own unique way.

What Effect do you have on Your World?

Everyone that you come into contact with on a daily basis can be either positively or negatively affected by your presence. As you go through your day you are both the cause and effect of many different situations, which will develop in the future. From a very simplistic perspective, you are either someone, who will create solutions or create challenges for the people in your environment.

Think about your life, past and present, try to visualise everyone you have had contact with over the years. They either helped you to find solutions and contentment in your life or they caused you to encounter challenges, which you had to solve. People are either the cause of contentment and joy, where they energise you and add value to your life or they drain your energy and bring you challenge.

I hear you say that there are also neutral people that do not affect you at all. My experience has shown me that the only difference between recognising someone as a value adder or an energy sapper is the amount of time you spend with them. After spending enough time with anyone they will fall into either of the two categories.

Explore your Past

Dare to explore your past interactions with these same people once again. This time ask a different question. How did these people feel about their interaction with you?  Were you someone that added value to their lives or were you the person that sapped their energy and caused them discomfort? If you cannot answer emphatically that you are someone, who adds value to everyone around you, it is time to make a few small, yet crucial changes to the way you think and present yourself to the world.

Getting Started

To begin the process of changing the attitude that you are projecting to the world, try to introduce these few simple ideas into your life:
  • Wake up every day and consciously start your day in a state of grace and gratitude. Invest at least five minutes at the start of your day exploring all the wonderful things you have going on in your life, for which you can be really grateful. This may seem difficult at first, but with practice, you will be amazed at all the good you have going on when you dare to search and discover.
  • Aspire to encourage and assist as many people as possible throughout your day. Look around your world with an open and caring mind-set and ask a better question. “Who can I help and how can I help them to be happier and more fulfilled”? I do offer a caveat here, give freely to inspiration and never empower desperation.
  • Try to only make deposits of energy and genuine authenticity into the lives of everyone you come into contact with. Maintain a positive outlook throughout the day and constantly aspire to exude good positive energy.
  • Smile as often as possible and be willing to share your grace with everyone around you. A smile costs nothing, but adds so much to your world. Share as many smiles as possible every day.
Share your Grace Freely – It is more Abundant than you could ever imagine

Your ability to share your grace with everyone around you is limitless. Begin to give freely to inspiration and remain committed to make deposits of energy and grace into the lives of others, all the time. When you live in this modality, the same wonder and grace you consistently radiate into your world, will be reflected back at you. You will become the recipient of incredible blessings and grace wherever you go. You can very quickly become a person of value and someone, who can make a real difference to the world. All that is required is a small shift towards grace and a willingness to try to make a real difference to everyone you touch within your environment.

Grace comes from Consistent Commitment

Whatever gets measured gets done. So set yourself a goal each day to begin spreading your blessings and grace. Stay committed to keep doing this until your attitude of grace and blessing becomes an integral part of who you are. What you really want is to create a grace and blessings habit set. The person that will benefit the most from this new attitude is YOU!!!!

Become Childlike Once Again - Turn Anger into fascination

I am sure that you are like everyone else and you want to experience real positive and meaningful changes in the results you are currently enjoying in your life. The best way to this is to make a small shift to the way you view things. It is time for you to change your casual interest in everything, which goes on around you, into fascination. When you are fascinated, you are curious and want to know how things work. This curiosity will reawaken that child in you once again, as you become fascinated by everything going on around you.

Develop a Child-like Fascination

When you train yourself to develop a childlike fascination once again, you develop a skill, which allows you to turn situations that would have caused you frustration before; into something which will fascinate you and become a positive learning experience. For example: If you are stuck in a traffic jam and the traffic is at a standstill. You can choose to become frustrated and irritated. This will raise your blood pressure; put your body under huge stress, resulting in you angrily punching the steering wheel.  None of which will make any difference to the situation at all. Or you can choose a better option, where you become childlike once again, eagerly looking around, exploring and trying to find something wonderful you can learn.

Anger or Fascination are Both Choices

In both situations you get through the traffic jam at the same time. One way causes you massive stress, damages your health and breaks you down, whilst the other offers you an opportunity to reflect, expand and even relax. Which do you think is the most effective and logical option to choose? Your attitude and temperament are always choices.

Action Idea: When faced with situations in the future, which traditionally cause you to respond in an angry fashion, take a deep breath and allow yourself to explore everything around you.  Try to discover all the reasons there are to be fascinated, reasons to learn and grow, reasons to relax, reasons to expand your world. This simple shift will allow you to quickly turn frustration into fascination.

Dare to Become a Child once Again

Both fascination and anger are childish emotions. Anger is a trained response and a reflection of your immature-self showing its ugly head. ,Anger is a really childish emotion, which you learned to exhibit in your youth, when you could not get your own way. Unless you are in a dangerous situation where your life may be threatened and the fight response is appropriate, anger does not serve you in any positive way. Fascination on the other hand is also a childlike response, but unfortunately one that we train ourselves to forget as we grow up. Dare to re-awaken your fascination and use this really powerful tool to constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to expand, learn and grow

Make the Shift

This subtle change in your responses and attitude will result in a major positive shift in the outcomes you enjoy, from now on. Make the shift from anger to curiosity and you will astound yourself, with how much better you feel, how your stress levels reduce, how much more productive you will become and how much more you will begin to notice, around you. This increased awareness allows you to see opportunities, where you only saw frustration before.
Learn to no longer choose anger as your first response to any situation. Rather practice the childish art of fascination. This positive shift will be well worth the effort. You stand to “loose” so much when you change anger into fascination. You will “loose” frustration, anger, negative feelings, and stress in your life. On the other hand, you will gain so much, curiosity, new insights, new skills, new knowledge, happiness and a life of learning and growth. Sounds like a great trade to me.

Overcome Inertia - How Do You Get Started on Your Success Journey?

Yes a journey of one thousand miles does indeed start with the first step. The challenge for most people though, is to find that inner drive and desire, to actually get off their butt, escape their comfort zone and for them to take that first teetering step and then to stay inspired enough, to keep taking steps every day after that. Success as you know is never an event, it is a process.
Know “WHY” You Want To Achieve It
The level of success you will get to enjoy is directly proportional to how well you can overcome the self that wants to give up and replace it with the self, who wants to succeed. The first step in this process of becoming and remaining inspired is of course to decide “WHY” you want to achieve anything. Once you have uncovered the deep rooted reason why something is important to you. The thing you want to achieve will grab a hold of you and you will be inspired from within to do what it takes to achieve the desired outcome.
Know What Success Means to You
Until you know what success means to you specifically, you are flying blind chasing after a phantom, you may not even want. Invest the time to define what success looks like, feels like and sounds like. In other words what will you have, be doing and need to be, for you to feel successful.
This is not as easy as it sounds. Society has trained us to believe that success is about how much money, power and fame we have and in some cases, that is exactly what success will mean to you. The challenge we face though, is that for many people, success is about time with family, great relationships, good health, meaningful careers, making a real difference to their world etc. Yet they are programmed by what they believe they should want by society’s norms and expectations, so they never feel completely committed to their goals. This makes them feel distant form their dreams and stops them from ever fully committing to their goals.
Action Idea: Have the courage to uncover what is really important to you, really introspect and discover what success really means to you and you will have unlocked the most powerful driver for your success. When the actions you take every day are aligned with your inner needs and highest values, nothing will be able to stop you. Every challenge will be seen as an opportunity to learn and grow. You will no longer need any external motivation, to take the daily actions you need to take to succeed. Your will be inspired from within.
See Any Temporary Failure or Setback as an Event
Any success journey is going to present you with challenges; even things which will make you feel like you have failed. The secret to success is to always view any stumbling blocks as merely a temporary inconvenience, only an event on your success journey. I know this is an old cliché, but try to turn every stumbling block into a stepping stone. Don’t just try to stumble over any setback or roadblock, step boldly onto any challenge, learn what you can, discover the possible opportunity hidden in any challenge and use this as a catalyst to propel you to new heights of achievement. See challenge, setbacks and roadblocks as the fertilizer for your success. This shift will help you to quickly overcome challenges and stay focused on your goals.
Is it Possible to Be Driven and inspired Every Day?
Despite all our good intentions, regardless of the level of success anyone may have achieved, everyone has times, when they really don’t feel like doing the things they know they need to do, to succeed. This is normal and just part of being human. The difference between those who become super achievers and those who live unfulfilling lives, is yes, the super achievers, know why they want to achieve something, they know what success really means to them and they see failures as merely events. But the real differentiator, comes down to the super achievers having the mental fortitude, at those crucial moments in their lives when they really don’t feel like taking action, they are able to conquer complacency and move themselves to action. Do not allow yourself to give up, just because things may be tough.
Joining the Dots
  • Success is about knowing what you want
  • Why you want it
  • Having a plan to help you to achieve exactly what you desire.
  • Knowing what success really means to you
  • See challenges as events and opportunities to grow
  • Remain focused on the outcome you want to achieve
  • Reward your successes
  • Connect your daily actions with pleasure rather than pain.

When you introduce this process into your life, you will be inspired every day. In other words any idea or goal you have, will grab a hold of you. You will no longer be pursuing something. You will feel driven to achieve it.

You can Double your productivity in only 30 Days

John lives an average life, waking up at 7 am every day. He immediately switches on the radio as he wakes up, filling his brain with all sorts of random pointless distracting input. He drives off to work with the radio blaring away in the background. This allows him to stay tuned out of his day and distracts him from thinking about what he needs to do that day.

The first thing he does, when he arrives at the office,  is make a cup of, where he spends 20 minutes chatting to colleges, before reluctantly walking to his desk and switching on his computer. By the time his computer has booted up, almost 30 minutes of his day has passed.

The first thing he tackles are his emails, which he spends the next 60 minutes reading, and laughing hysterically at all the funny junk emails he has received, from his friends. The rest of the day is spent in overwhelm and distraction, where he spends most of his time dealing with random issues that pop up, most of them unimportant to him.

People constantly interrupt him throughout the day, so he is unable to focus on any priority tasks for very long during the day at all. He spins his wheels all day, gets to the end of another day exhausted, having achieved very little.

He goes home collapses in the sofa, in front of the TV and watches another 5 hours of pointless entertainment, so that he does not have to think about his pointless day. He feels like he has worked really hard, but once again achieved very little.

Learn a few New Daily Success Habits

Do you know anyone like that, or maybe you are John. Where you feel like you are spinning your wheels every day, achieving very little. That can change right now, if you are willing to forgo a little pleasure in the moment and learn a few new daily success habits.

Plan your day the night Before

This really simple new success habit will save you an incredible amount of time every day and allow you to start your day running, with a very clear picture of what your priority activities are and when you will tackle them.

Set aside time slots to Tackle your Top Priorities

During your planning session the night before, set aside time slots in your day, to tackle your top priorities. These are your goal specific activities, which you need to carry out every day, in order to achieve your goals. These are crucial time slots where you close your door and put all your focus on getting your priority goal specific tasks done, every day.

When you meet with your most important client, you do allow distractions. Treat the “meetings with your future” the same way and you will astound yourself how quickly you start to see your goals unfold.

Set Aside time late in the morning to read emails

During your planning session, set aside as little time as necessary to read only the important emails, which have value to you. Schedule this for around 10 am, once your day is working and on track. Stop blind copying everyone and their cousin, in on every email you send and encourage everyone you deal with to do the same.

Far too much time is spent reading unnecessary emails, which mean nothing to you; because people blindly copy everyone they think might need to read the email. Most importantly, do not waste time reading or distributing junk emails. If you send funny mails to friends, they will do the same for you.

Be absolutely clear with everyone around you and tell them not to send you time wasting material. Be ruthless with how you ignore and delete all this type of rubbish.

Wake up and Get up

When you wake up and immediately get up, you are setting the tone for a really productive day. I refer to this as your daily activation energy. The way you start your day, energised, inspired and driven, is the way your day will unfold. Drink a glass of water as soon after getting up as possible, to energise and rehydrate your body.

Read for 15 minutes

Sustainable success is all about having a commitment to consistently learn and grow. When you wake up every day, get out of bed and read a quality transformational, educational or inspirational book, for just 15 minutes. If you do this every day, you will manage to read about 5 to 10 pages a day.

Over a year, that will add up to between 1500 and 3000 pages of good transformational information, which will help you to expand your world. The average human developmental book is about 250 pages. That means that you can read between 5 and 10 developmental books a year, by introducing this simple routine into your life.

Exercise every morning

By introducing a simple daily habit of exercising for 30 minutes every morning, you not only feel more energised, but you build better health and vigour. The better the shape you are in, the more energy you will have every day, to carry out your priority activities.

Listen to inspirational, Transformational or Educational Cd’s on your drive to and from work

Instead of wasting around 500 hours a year on your commute to and from work, listening to the radio, rather listen to informative cd’s, which will either uplift and energise or educate you on your commute to and from work every day. Time is your most valuable possession, invest yours wisely.

Your Day Continues

Armed with your plan for the day, you can immediately start your day, focused, energised and driven. On the way to your desk, drink a bottle of water; nothing energises you more than water does.

When you are conducting your “meetings with your future”, those time slots where you tackle your daily priorities, do not allow any distractions at all. Focus with dogged determination to get everything you have planned done, during this time slot. Over time this discipline will add up into the success you desire.

There are many more ways you can dramatically increase your productivity every day. Please visit my website as described below for more information. Stay productive throughout your day and make your work matter.
