The Time To Act on any Suitable Opportunity Is Now

Learn the art of exploring all opportunities, which may cross your path and build your experience and judgment, so that you can quickly decide if it is worth investing time and energy into exploring any new opportunity. It is always far easier to explore any opportunities and save buckets of your valuable time, if you have a crystal clear picture of exactly what you want to achieve. Using this clear understanding of what you want to achieve in your life or business, will help you to very quickly decide, if any opportunity is worth your time and energy or not.

Act When the Idea is Still Hot

The art of becoming a super achiever is to learn to ignore the good opportunities, so that you have time and energy available, to devote to only the great opportunities, which cross your path. Once you have identified a viable opportunity though, act immediately, when the idea is still hot and the emotion is strong.

If you hesitate too long before you begin to take action on any new opportunity, which is worthy of your time and energy and you don’t act immediately, you will fall prey to the “LAW of DIMINISHING INTENT”. Commit to immediately begin creating a crystal clear picture around the outcome you want to achieve and begin building a plan that will lead you there. Take action to start the process as soon as possible, before the feeling passes and the great idea begins to dim.

Take Action

Great intentions are too often killed through a lack of meaningful action, which is taken while the idea is fresh and the inspiration high. Unless you translate your great intentions into action very soon, the urgency diminishes and your passion dies.
The foundation for you to consistently realize meaningful results in your life is based on you engaging in genuine daily discipline and your commitment to take and keep taking inspired action every day. When you commit to daily discipline, you are able to capture the passion, emotion and wisdom of the moment and translate it into long term sustainable action process and you become unstoppable.

Quickly Establish new Daily Routines

The secret to make this work for you and your business is to very quickly establish the new daily disciplines or routines needed to convert any opportunity into success, as your new success habit set, as soon as possible. When you do this you have begun a whole new life process, which will promote your long term sustainable success. Discipline is the cornerstone of great success and your greatest ally for creating self-esteem and self-worth. Stay focused on the outcome you want to achieve, remain committed to apply the daily discipline necessary, to carry out all the actions, required to turn your plans into reality and you can and will make any dream or business goal real.

Simply commit to offer only your best every day and to continually build your self- respect. As you start with the smallest of daily disciplines, which is aligned with the outcomes you want to achieve and you commit to keep improving your daily discipline over time. You will gradually build an unbreakable foundation for sustainable success. As you continue to build the necessary daily disciplines required to achieve all your personal and business goals in the years to come, you will begin to celebrate remarkable, almost magical and what will feel like effortless successes in your life

Have the Courage to re-invent Yourself

Answer the few questions listed below and see if you are living the live you really want:
  • How satisfied are you with your career, relationships, health and finances?
  • If you won twenty million dollars today, would you change anything or everything in your life?
  • If you would immediately change almost everything in your life, if you won all that money, why are you not doing anything about it right now?
  • Why are you allowing yourself to live an unfulfilled life of dissatisfaction?

If these questions have highlighted the fact that you are living a life, which is less than ideal, you are not alone. My experience has shown me that only a very small percentage of people actually get to live the life of their dreams. The rest, allow themselves to remain trapped in unhappy, empty lives, stuck on the hamster wheel of discontentment.
I speak from experience, as I lived the first 35 years of my life trapped in a cycle of unfulfilling careers, relationships and although I always managed to generate great income, I never really created any meaningful level of sustainable wealth. Even though, I have owned and operated a number of very successful, yet diverse businesses over the years, in many different sectors, from conferencing/tourism - engineering and manufacturing.
None of these careers offered me any real satisfaction; I was involved in all of them for the wrong reasons. It was only when I finally decided to begin following my dream to become a professional speaker that writes, researches and travels the planet, teaching and helping other people how to realise their full potential, that I began to feel fulfilled and content.
I want to offer you a few tools and techniques that I have learnt over the years, which will help you to make the shift necessary, to begin making the positive changes you need in your life, so that you too can start doing what you love. These tools and techniques are common sense and when applied in your life consistently, will allow you to gradually make the shift into a satisfying life, which excites and invigorates you.
Identify and Leverage your Strengths
Do you remember when you were at school and you were getting an A for English and a C for math? How your parents and teachers encouraged you to work really hard on your math and not on your English, so that you could improve on your weak areas. This concept of working on our weaknesses has stuck with us and although this is not the first time you are hearing that you should ignore your weaknesses and focus only on your strengths, I am sure that you are still focusing a whole lot of your energy on attempting to improve your weaknesses.
It is time to identify your unique skills, talents, advantages and abilities and to focus all your energy on improving these. Ignore your weaknesses and get people that play at what you struggle to do, to help you in your areas of weakness. The first step is to invest time into identifying your areas of strength and to begin the process of re-invention. Where you begin to move your life from unsatisfying and mediocre, to a place where you love who you are and you adore what you do.
Make the commitment today, to identify what it is you really want to do with the rest of your life and then begin the process of growing and improving your own special gifts every day, until you become the type of person that can live exactly that life.
Begin the process of re-invention by asking yourself these few questions:
  • What do I do better than almost everyone I know?
  • What do I really enjoy doing?
  • What comes really easy and naturally to me?
  • What attribute or skill do people often compliment me on?
  • What skill or attribute do I possess that inspires me to practice?

Know what you want to do and what exhilarates and excites you
Have you ever asked the question," what really excites and exhilarates me, what is my passion"? The answer does not need to be earth shattering or revolutionary. More often than not the answer you will come up with will be simple and aligned with your unique skills abilities and talents.
When searching for the answer to this question ask yourself these few questions:
  • What are the things you really enjoy to do in your life?
  • What careers really excite you?
  • What markets do you enjoy?
  • What products do you enjoy?
  • What industries do you like the most?
  • What people excite you the most?
  • What do you love to do the most?
  • What are you doing when you feel most happy and content?
  • What activities do you really enjoy?

Once you have found what you really want to do with the rest of your life, it is time to figure out how you are going to open the door to your new vocation. Take a really in-depth look at the supply chain, marketplace or industry where you want to build your vocation and answer these few questions:
  • Who are the vendors or businesses involved and what products and services do they work with?
  • Now look at the various options and see how you can align your unique skills and talents with building a career in that industry.

Once you have gone through this process you will have identified a perfect fit for yourself. Now all that is left to do, is for you to pull the trigger and to either form a business performing that function or for you to present yourself to a business, which needs your specific talents and skills. The secret to make this work for you is to be flexible, patient and teachable. Nothing worthwhile comes without effort and without paying a price for tuition. Accept that you may need to take a few steps back, but as you are playing to your strengths, you will very quickly acquire the necessary skill and talent, to excel in your new vocation.
The thought of any change frightens most people, so expect the people around you to criticise, your decision to re-invent yourself. As you radically re-invent yourself and begin to chase your dreams, everyone around you will try to stop you. One of the loudest voices will be your own; it will be really uncomfortable to step out of a place, where you may not be fulfilled or happy; into a completely new life. As long as you have gone through the entire process I have described above and you are certain that these changes are necessary. Feel the discomfort and go ahead and do it any way. The new fulfilling and complete life, you will get to live will most certainly be worth the short term discomfort.
You can make this process a lot less painful, if you build a great support team around you. Find mentors and a peer group that share your vision and ambition. These are people that will support you and act as your ally, as you embark on your new adventure, to live the life of your dreams. Commit to learn all you need to learn as you grow into your new life. Immerse yourself in the process and read as many books, watch as many DVD's, listen to every audio possible and attend as many seminars as you can, to support you and help you to build the skills you need.

Success is not just about setting goals

After you have invested time into creating a crystal clear picture of what you want your future to look like, you have set realistic goals that will stretch you and move you towards achieving just that in your life. You have given yourself something to aim for, success is not a destination, it is a direction. Now all that is left to do, is to build a blueprint or map that will not only give you direction, but will chart a clear course, which will take you from where you are to where you want your life to go. Until you have a crystal clear set of written down goals and a workable plan that you can begin applying in your life, you are traveling on board a rudderless boat. Where your life, will just drift aimlessly along with the flow, completely out of control, you will never get to travel in the direction of meaningful achievement and your life will inevitably crash up against the rocks of discontent and frustration.
Effective goals achieving requires you to:
·         Commit to invest time into clearly defining what success means to you
·         Know why you want to achieve any outcome or goal
·         Set meaningful goals that will allow you to achieve your concept of success
·         Be realistic, but have big expectations that will stretch you
·         Build a plan that will clearly map out how you will achieve the outcomes you desire
·         Break your plan back into individual daily actions
·         Ensure that you have time daily, dedicated to carry out these actions
·         Measure your performance daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly
·         Review your progress and see if the actions are taking are delivering the required results
·         Constantly improve and adjust your daily actions, until they do deliver the desired outcomes.
·          Pull the trigger and begin taking action.
·         Stay committed and persistent and consistently take action every day.
·         Begin living a meaningful life, where you get to live your dreams
If the above goal achievement process is common sense and easy to do, then why don’t more people apply it in their lives and begin living meaningful lives, where they are content and fulfilled. Well it may be common sense, but using and applying these simple steps in our lives, is by no means common practice. As easy, as it is to introduce this simple process for achievement into our lives, so easy is it to get caught up in a cycle of busyness and pointless activity. Where we choose leisure over activity and industry, where entertaining ourselves to death, takes precedence over daily discipline and commitment. We trade our lives for instant gratification and constant distraction and entertainment, instead of investing time into on-going learning and growth. It is far easier to flop down into the couch in front of the idiot’s lantern (TV), after arriving home from another empty, unfulfilling day, where we do a job that we hate, than it is to introduce the simple process as described above, which would positively change our lives.
Everything in life is a choice, continue to choose leisure over activity and you are condemning yourself to a pointless life of emptiness and drudgery. Choose to introduce the simple system as described above; apply consistent doses of discipline, focus and persistence in your life and you have uncovered a recipe to begin living a fulfilling life, where living all your dreams becomes possible.

Turn Your Vocation into your Vacation

What would you do if you won $ 1 000 000 US Dollars in a lottery?
Would you:
·         Continue doing what you are doing right now and invest the money?
·         Invest the money and change your career.
·         Immediately stop doing what you are currently doing for a career and find a new career.
·         Spend all the money and keep working at the same career.
Your answer to this simple question highlights a few major things about your current level of satisfaction with your career, it shows where your values lie and gives a clear measure of your internal programing. If your first response is to immediately change your career, the alarm bells should go off and you should realise that you are doing the wrong thing with your life. Life is not a dress rehearsal, it is the real deal and every day that passes, whilst you are unhappy or dissatisfied is gone forever.
If you would immediately change your career, then it is time for you to take a really hard look at your life and to begin searching around you, for something that is aligned with your concept of success and then to build a plan that will allow you to change your career. We spend the majority of our lives engaged in activities to generate an income and to sustain our chosen lifestyle. If you are unhappy or dissatisfied with the choice you have made in this regard, you are setting yourself up for a tedious life filled with dissatisfaction and unhappiness. Rest back control of your life and happiness and have the courage to begin following your dreams.
When the first thought around what you would do with your life, after winning a million dollars, flows straight to spending and consumption. Then you can clearly see that your values around money are driven by spending, you are not programmed to be an investor. I am positive that you have struggled all your life and do not have financial security at all. Your value around investing money is very low, you love money, but you never look for ways to grow your wealth and value, you spend money faster than it can come to you.
If you want this to change, you must make a decision to change your value around money and your need to spend faster than you earn. Commit to build a plan to begin growing your wealth. Until you make a decision to begin saving and investing, something amazing will happen, Nothing!! You will continue down the slippery slope of financial disaster and the years will continue to pass in a blur of frustration and you will remain trapped in mediocrity.
Now is the time to address these two really crucial factors in your life, if you do not like your career and you wake up every day praying for help, to simply get through your day and you feel trapped in a downward cycle of zero wealth growth. Firstly have the courage to change your career for one that meets your needs. Something miraculous happens, when you commit to change your career for something that you view as your vocation. You feel far more satisfied and happy every day and you get the added bonus that you start to earn far more money too. As you become more fulfilled and satisfied, your need to look for gratification in consumption spending or “retail therapy” as it is commonly called, diminishes. You have a greater inclination to invest and grow.
When you commit to change your vocation into your vacation, you will see many great benefits flow to your life.
There are a few easy steps to begin this process:
·         Look at your life right now and discover what you would really love to do with your future.
·         Commit to begin acquiring the knowledge and skills you need to become what you desire.
·         Change the way you see your current situation and stop seeing everything as being in your way. Shift and see everything as part of your journey, everything, including your current career, are on the way to the future that you desire.
·         Build a plan and begin to take daily action to change your life
·         Measure your progress and reward yourself for each milestone that you achieve.
Stop focusing on destinations, commit to enjoy the journey and start to make the most of where you are right now. This small shift will help you to change the way you feel about your current circumstances and will also give you the impetus to move your life in the direction you want.

Ignite the flame under your unlimited potential

Ignite the flame under your unlimited potential
Ignite the flame of your unlimited potential by allowing yourself to; explore all the wonders of being a child once again. Permit yourself to venture back into that era of wonder and belief and to re- discover how passionate and driven you were, to be something special. Remember all those wonderful dreams you and all the great things you were going to do. Sit and give yourself permission to go back and remember how excited you got every day,  just thinking about what you were going to have, do and be when you grew up. These dreams were so exciting that you could not wait to grow up, so that you could begin to pursue and live them. Those wonderful dreams that flowed so freely through your veins were there for a reason, they were your true, unlimited inner potential casting a picture of what is possible for you.
This vision of possibility has slowly been filed away and your inner passion and belief has been gradually and inexorably killed, day after day, as you have travelled along the journey of your life. All the trials, tribulations and challenges you have faced, have gradually chipped away at your picture possibility, completely diminished your vision of all you are capable of achieving. This has left you accepting a limited picture of your unlimited potential that is keeping you trapped and distant from all you are capable of becoming. As the time has grown between when you were a child and you had all those dreams that anything was possible and today, where you have forgotten about your fantasies and goals. You have become distracted and begun to believe the people around you, the people that have given up on their dreams and who have convinced you that your dreams are not possible either.  Is this OK with you, are you happy to just coast through life and never live that passion you felt as a child? I challenge you to once again awaken that joy and belief that you once had and to allow yourself to explore, discover and become. Rekindle those dreams you once had and give yourself permission to expand and grow into the kind of person that can attract the success that you desire.
The first step in this simple process is to give yourself permission to feel a level of discomfort and to step outside of your self-imposed comfort zone. Your comfort zone is most certainly not a comfortable place to stay, it is the place that you have created in your mind, about what you are capable of achieving. The real possibilities that are available to you are limitless; your comfort zone is something false that you have created to keep you from stretching yourself and feeling a little stress. Have the courage to shift the way you look at everything around you and start to see challenges, roadblocks and difficulties as opportunities to learn and grow. Shift from viewing everything that crosses your path as being IN your way and see everything that comes your way as opportunities and as something that is on your way to the success that you desire. This small shift allows you to no longer look for ways to get through your day or week, but allows you to start looking for all the ways you can get as much as possible, from your day or week. Allow yourself to once again ignite that feeling of passion and believe in yourself once again. You will never achieve more than you believe is possible for you. Grow your belief and give yourself permission to feel a little stress as you stretch and challenge yourself. Give yourself the opportunity to discover and live your greater purpose. Allow the passion and desire to burn long enough so that you can achieve your wildest and most audacious goals. You are capable of the most amazing things, stop holding yourself away from possibility any longer, it is now the time to live your unlimited potential. Why not you and why not today?

Social Media Strategy for Chamber

Social Media Strategy for Chamber
As we now enter the social media arena and we want to start making our mark in this new medium, it is imperative that we start out by listening to conversations that are going on about the Chamber or any in any other areas in which the Chamber may have an interest.. This will give us an understanding of what people are thinking about the Chamber and an opportunity to identify any trends within the market that could affect us now or in the future.
We need to identify a few key people (5 +) within the chamber that can devote about 30 - 45 minutes a day, to listen in on twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
1)      Their initial role will be to identify conversations relating to the Chamber and to then contribute valuable content to these conversations.
2)      A half day training session is necessary to bring these people up to speed on what is required from them.
3)      A brainstorming session must be arranged to identify keywords and areas of focus for these searches.
4)      They must use twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to search for conversations where these keywords that have been identified are occurring.
5)      Once they have located interesting relevant conversations that they feel are aligned with the Chambers strategy. They will leave the Chambers virtual handshake by leaving pertinent comments, offering feedback and delivering value.
6)      The key people identified above, must use their time on Social media, effectively to contribute to the conversations and attract new members, add value to existing members and extend the reach of the Chamber into the social media arena.
The secret to make a success out of the Chambers social media strategy is to ensure that we create good content and then to locate all the possible places that would enjoy this content. The key people that are identified must invest as much time as possible in these forums, identifying the right conversations, contributing ideas and commenting on as many articles as possible in these forums. Over time the Chamber, will become an integral part of these communities and valuable contributor of meaningful value.
Social media is not instant or an event, it is a process. Becoming successful with any social media strategy is about commitment and patience. Understand that the work only starts after we have posted the feedback, comment or valuable content, or written a blog.  Our goal must be to promote the Chamber on all the forums that can get and give value to the Chamber. This is achieved by listening, searching and identifying all the right forums and connecting with the right people on the right forums. This takes effort and commitment. Do not think that succeeding in social media is just posting great content. It is about listening, contributing and becoming an integral part of the conversation.
There is a real time commitment for the Chamber to become successful with our social media strategy. The secret to succeeding with this strategy is all about consistency and ensuring that we are contributing the right content that is meaningful and of value in the right forums, to the right people. We are in effect in a leadership role and as we expand and build a significant following via our various social media outlets, we are taking on great responsibility and must meet our commitment to provide quality content and to always operate with the highest level of integrity.
Becoming successful in the social media arena is not about simply stepping into the conversation and then just fading away. It must become an integral part of our marketing and daily communication strategy. Social media is about participation and contribution; it is not about taking and offering nothing in return.
As we are contributing to the conversation, it is our responsibility to always be authentic and allow our passion and good intent to shine through at all times. The level of authenticity, commitment we offer on a regular basis and to always provide value and consistency are three of the key factors required, for us to become and remain successful with any social media strategy. As we continue to provide and consistently offer authentic and meaningful content, people will soon realize that they can trust what we have to offer and that our content is of real value.
We must accept that becoming successful in the social media arena, requires a different approach to some other traditional forms of media. There is a huge element of trust that rests with all the individuals that are contributors to our overall strategy. Social media is not a one man or woman strategy, it requires input from a number of people within the Chamber, every single day. The larger the number of people that can contribute to our social media strategy, the greater and more effective will be our reach.
Social media is an incredible tool for building connection and relationships with the right people in the right places. Social media is an amazing additional tool that we can use to expand our message in our markets and to communicate with new and existing members of the Chamber. It should always be used in conjunction with all the other strategies that the Chamber is currently employing to market itself and to communicate with members and prospective members.
The time for the Chamber to enter the social media arena is now. Our social media strategy will take time to develop and implement. We cannot wait much longer to enter this arena and to begin using all the amazing opportunities this new medium offers the Chamber.

Becoming a Super Achiever is about taking Calculated Risks

Becoming a Super Achiever is about taking Calculated Risks
Acquiring great success and achievement, often requires you to take on some level of risk. As most super achievers have taken a number of risks in their lives and it is very often that very risk taking that made them successful in the first place, it seems pretty obvious that super achievement and accepting some level of risk are synonymous. The secret though is to know the difference between taking a calculated risk and blundering into something that is just plain foolish risk. Every super achiever that I have studied understands the art of only taking only calculated risks and most certainly will never fall prey to the kind of hype and commercial propaganda created by Hollywood around risk taking. “Take calculated risks. That is quite different from being rash.”  General Patton.
The Art of Taking Calculated Risks
Building success and following your entrepreneurial spirit, will most certainly require you to assess many situations, opportunities and events and to take calculated risks that will move you to the next level of achievement. Any big idea or major goal you have, will require you to stretch yourself and to expand your activities and thinking beyond your current comfort zone.
I have compiled a simple plan, described below, to allow you to mitigate the risk, whilst still allowing you to expand your horizons and to take calculated risks only.
Taking calculated risks is Essential
Knowing when to put your chin out there and to accept some level of calculated risk is an essential part of the process of separating yourself from the crowd. Knowing when to take a calculated risk is the one variable that very often separates the super achievers from the rest of the mediocre crowd. It is your willingness to accept some level of risk that will advance you to the next level of abundance and achievement. Accept that you must accept some level of risk to become abundant and successful, but never allow the risk to stretch you into realms in which you could lose everything.
As you climb the ladder to ever greater levels of success and you have more and more to lose. It is wise to assess every risk that you intend to take even more carefully. When you are young and do not have too much to lose, you have not moved too far from the starting line, losing everything and having to start over is not as costly, as when you have created some level of success already. As you move further down the path to super achievement it is prudent to mitigate any risks that you take and to only ever put a small portion of your accumulated wealth at risk. I am conservative and I limit my risk profile as follows:
·         Speculative risk – Max 10 % of your net worth.
·         Moderate risk 10 – 20 % of net worth.
·         Calculated risk 20 – 30 % of net worth.
I have found this ratio of high risk to moderate risk, a safe bet when exploring any new opportunities. As you get a little older and you have a family that depends on you, it is crucial that you are wiser and more prudent in your risk profile and choices.
Take risks in only in areas where you have knowledge and expertise
My experience has shown me that every time I have entered into a venture that is outside of my area of competency and taken a risk. I have lost my shirt. Never invest or take any risk in any venture that is outside your core area of competency. If you do not understand the business or the marketplace, steer clear and avoid taking any risk at all. The biggest challenge when you try to enter into an area that is outside your area of expertise is that you are taking a risk in an area, where you don’t even know, what you don’t know.  You have no foundation to build on, who to ask the right questions to or how you should go about making the venture work. You can never take a calculated risk in any area where you do not have the competency to know what to calculate or how to weigh the risks.
Mitigate or remove the risk altogether
The secret of most super achievers and great risk takers is that they understand how to mitigate or remove the risk from the equation completely. The way to do this successfully is to never take on any risk that will overextend you, to the point of complete disaster if things do not work out. Conduct in-depth due diligence before accepting any risk and always assess any risk against the potential return. If something appears too good to be true and the returns seem to be just too incredible to be true. Then more often than not they are. Create a bottom measure or floor level where you will pull the plug on any investment. Do not fall into the trap of throwing good money after bad.
1)      Risk is necessary to succeed
2)      The more you have to lose and the more people that depend on you, the more prudent and calculating you must be.
3)      Only invest in areas in which you have expertise – stick to what you know
4)      Conduct in-depth, due diligence and create clear plans and measurement criterion before taking on any risk.
5)      Have discipline to pull the plug on any risk that has gone sour.

Turn Activity into Effectiveness (Part 2)

Turn Activity into Effectiveness (Part 2)
Best Business Inspirational Speakers
This is the second part in the series on how to achieve great results, by doing less of the unimportant things, so that you can free up time to focus on the important tasks that deliver the best results. This strategy is most certainly not about activity, it aims to help you to focus all your energy on developing a productive new habit set that will promote effectiveness and efficiency. In the first article, it was clear that we must learn the art of saying no to the good, so that we have capacity to say yes to the great. We also looked at ways of exploring your past schedule to identify huge time wasters and unnecessary tasks and then projecting this awareness forward into our future schedules to ensure that we do not repeat the errors of the past. Now that you have learnt to focus your energy on only doing things that will help you to achieve the few priorities that will deliver on your one to three major goals and you no longer allow yourself to waste energy on doing unnecessary tasks each day, you have created time slots in your day to carry out your daily activities as described in the first article.  The next step in this simple yet extremely effective process is to:
Plan Your Day the Night Before
Now that you have a three source documents containing individual actions that you will take each day, you must create a plan every night to ensure that you carry out these crucial daily activities. When you commit to plan your day the night before, you firstly get to start your day running; you know exactly what you must do, before your day even starts. This helps you to get a head start on everyone else that must still sit and waste time in the morning trying to sort out their day. It also programs your reticular activation System or internal Google Search Engine, to start searching for solutions to challenges you may get to face the next day. When you leave your daily planning for the next morning, it is amazing, so much just seems to come up that you never ever get to plan at all. Your day just seems to unfold and circumstances control you and your energies. Leaving your planning for the morning allows the rest of the world to make all your choices, instead of you. You get to spend your day re-acting instead of creating.
Review your day every night – Before you start the 10 minute daily planning session each evening, just before you decide that you are “Done for the Day”, it is good practice to review your day and see what lessons you learnt and to take time to reward yourself for all your successes. Review all the actions you took or failed to take and assess how you did. These are the focused actions that you are taking every day that are aligned with the projects that you are attempting to achieve. Each individual project will in turn move you closer and closer to achieving one of the three goals you have set for yourself. These are the three goals that, when you achieve them will deliver the best year you could imagine.
Best Business Speakers South Africa
The process so far:

1)      Learn to say no to the good so that you have time for the great

2)      Delegate, delete or decline things that are not aligned with the three major goals you have chosen

3)      Choose three major goals to focus your attention on for the year

4)      Break your year back into 4, 90 day segments. Focus on only one goal during each 90 day period

5)      Break this goal back into projects or bite size chunks that you can easily accomplish

6)      Break each project back into individual action lists.

7)      Focus on a maximum of three projects at a time.

8)      Create “Meetings with your future” – set time aside in your schedule to carry out crucial daily activities.

9)      Transfer individual actions onto your daily planning schedule.

10)   Review your day – learn all the lessons and celebrate your victories.

11)   Planning is done the night before.
I have seen remarkable results in my own life and in the lives of everyone that has adopted this simple system into their lives. It takes a little bit of willpower and discipline to introduce these new routines into your life. The benefits that will flow to you once you have turned these into your new habit set are worth the investment in time and effort. The long term returns will far outweigh the price paid in your time.
